Green Acres: The Complete First Season

Be aware that Season One does not play on a Computer DVD or CD Rom. The menu option doesn't work and you can only access one episode from each disc. The Original 2014 package does the same as the original 2004 version. I don't know if it plays on a Standard DVD player or not. Just for your reference.

My sister loved it. She loves all the old movies and shows. Watches it a few times a week.

There are some sitcoms you should see just because they were part of the American landscape back in the 1960s. These include:My Favorite Martian (1963-1966) The one where a guy comes from Mars and lives with Bill Bixby.Mr. Ed (1961-1966) The one with the talking horse.Green Acres (1966-1971) The one where the city girl lives in the country.Petticoat Junction (1963-1970) The one about life in the country.Beverly Hillbillies (1962-1971) The one about country folk moving to Beverly Hills.While none of these shows withstood the test of time, all are an important part of American history. You don’t have to watch every episode, and you probably won’t want to. But why not take a look at what people were watching back when there were only two channels?(Note that I’m not including in this list 5-star shows like Gilligan’s Island, Bewitched, and I Dream of Jeannie. Those are all just plain worth watching because they're great!)
