What is the umf or mgo rating of the honey in this product?

Our honey undergoes independent quality testing in an ISO17025 accredited laboratory to ensure quality, purity, and safety. Batches are collected and identified for Manuka Honey’s medicinal trilogy of compounds - leptosperin, dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and methylglyoxal (MGO). A minimum MGO 360+ (NPA 12+) is required to meet medical grade standards. First Honey was not set up to sell food grade honey; we specialize in wound care and first aid and require medical grade Manuka honey which must pass much more stringent testing and filtering to pass ISO and FDA standards for wound application. Is this as effective as using Manuka honey from the bottle?

It is safer. Medical grade honey requires more stringent testing than food grade and sterilization to ensure it's free of contaminants and suitable for use in wound care. Manuka honey from the jar is food grade but not medical grade, which means it often contains botulism toxin and other contaminants which may be safe to consume or apply to unbroken skin but not open wounds.
