SPY LENS - Works with all Smartphones

Ok so this lense is essentially a little periscope for your phone. It just changes the angle you hold the phone at to take a pic. There are two major issues. A. The only way to connect it is a small magnetic ring that is in layer in the part that goes up against the lens. My phone is not metal in that area so it does nothing. What I will probably do is use some removable 3m sticky mounting tape to attach a small washer around my lense. That way I can use the magnet to stick it on and off as I please. But this should have been included. B. the other issue is when attached to the lense on the back of the phone it takes upside down pics. So you would have to stick it to the selfie lens to get proper righ side up pics.

This is a very nice prism. The image quality is excellent. If you have a flip/mirror image function, you should use it because it reverses the image.One problem I have is that the mounting magnet isn't very strong. The tiny magnets in electric toothbrush heads are much stronger. This means the phone has to be held still or the prism might be dislodged and/or dropped. Forget using it in a car or on a bicycle. When it arrived, the prism had been dislodged from the mount and was rattling around in the package. You might be better off using double stick tape.Another thing to note is that it blocks the LED flash. You should disable the flash because it points in the wrong direction and just causes flair in the prism when it comes on.

bought this at the beginning of the year. It is nice to play with but if you do not place the thing right, you can see the black corner of the lens on your video or pict. Keeps falling, the magnet is not strong so the lens won't stay on your phone, and you have to take the phone case out. I had an iphone 6 at that time.

Every time I point a camera (or the back of my phone) at my dog, he acts as if I'm trying to steal his soul. What the hell, I have a camera-shy DOG?? So I got this "spy lens" so I could nonchalantly seem to check my email while actually snapping a surreptitious picture of my stupid dog. Well, I should have known better than to buy such an obviously gimmicky piece of crap, because what I got was junk at a junk price. Lesson learned. Just gonna have to take pictures of the dog when he's sleeping and can't see the camera, I guess.

The fact that it works with a magnetic feature means that you cannot use it with a phone case (should have said this in the ad); the magnets themselves do not have adhesive, so I would have to add it myself, which is not a problem, but why sell it without it? The image is upside down, and if it requires an app there is absolutely no information about this in the package. I was going to return it, but it's not eligible for return. So, all in all, this was a waste of my money. I should have saved it for a juicy hamburger instead.

This product did not disappoint. Even before I ordered it, I thought I wouldn't like it. It was, however, worse than I thought it would be. The sticky stuff on the adapter rings doesn't hold very well, and the magnets are not strong enough. So, it can't be used. I gave it a try anyway, and in landscape mode the pictures are cut off sort of square. It's funny that they call it a "spy lens" because it protrudes out of the back of the camera just begging for attention. I bought it because I figured it might be funny. It turned out to be sad.

Does not come with directions so I am uncertain as of yet how exactly I use it.

It came with a bunch of little sticky magnet rings and it is annoying to set up. It falls off as well pretty easily. Still cool though.
