Clever little toys, but better as a fidget toy than a game
The media could not be loaded. I'm an adult - so I'm not the intended user of this item - but I'm fascinated by magnetic transforming toys & like to collect them.Kuroba is a very cute little toy that has lovely tactile surfaces and is nice to hold. The basic idea is that you and a friend each have a Kuroba & choose rock, paper, or scissors by rotating a dial hidden underneath the face plate, then turning your Kuroba inside out into a cube. Then you smash them together, and the Kurobas (is that the plural for Kuroba?!) will win - or tie - according to the normal rock, paper, scissors rules. The idea of the game is a bit strange to me, and I can't imagine this being a game that I would have enjoyed playing as a kid. The dial is sometimes hard to turn, and at first, it can be a bit tricky to work out how to fold the Kuroba, but I've got the hang of it now.The toy itself is very fun to play around with as a sort of fidget toy. I love folding the cube and then making it pop open again. I also think this was a very clever bit of engineering work, to make the toys win the battle based on which rock, paper, scissors option is selected. I had fun figuring out how it works. If I was rating this as a game, I would only give it 3 stars. But as a toy, I give it 5 stars. So that's why my overall rating is 4 stars.

Clever and different
The media could not be loaded. Quite a clever concept and a well made toy. You select paper/scissors/rock by sliding the little dial under the removable faceplate. It’s a little tricky sometimes to make your selection. You then fold the cube up inside out, which again can be tricky for small hands to hold all the sides in place as it’s spring loaded until it’s fully clipped. Players then side their pieces together and the winners cube grabs hold of the loosing cube. Slow mo video attached as it happens so quickly. It’s something different and quite good for children that like fidget type toys.
