Iron Carousel Cupcake Stand, with Enlarged Cups, White (Vintage)

This item is so cute. I will be using it for daughters "Mary Poppins" birthday party. The package came without assembly instructions, but it was easy to put together by looking at the picture on the box. One of the cupcake holders was a little bent when removed from the box, but it was easy to bend back. "Practically perfect" quality for the $20!

This cupcake holder is beautiful. I originally purchased it for a circus/carnival party I had earlier this year. Everyone who saw it commented how much they liked it. I made little carousel horse cupcakes to go in it and it looked great. I love that the whole thing spins!The only problem I had was constructing it. There were no instructions and it took me a few tries to figure out where all the parts went and in what order.Despite my trouble with construction, I would definitely recommend this product.

I would suggest people buy two of these carousels. Not because they're great, but because some come damaged or missing parts. The metal rod that attaches to the base requires sanding down so that the silver part doesn't show when it's fully assembled. The amount of silver seen varies from carousel as the bottom tier doesn't appear to be made by the same machine. It's odd that it doesn't come with an instruction manual, but it's easy to figure out. The only good thing besides it being pretty is that it can spin.The first one I bought was missing the base rod. The second one had a bad carousel top where inside poles were not welded down for the white pipe to fit, and the different carousel tiers were also bent by the time I received it. I ended up switching some parts from the two purchases before returning all of the bad parts in one of the boxes.The boxes that hold the carousel display all came damaged with punctures in the middle of the boxes.

Unfortunately I believe this product's rating is so high because it is skewed by so many customers receiving the product free of charge (most previous reviews mention that the company gifted this product for reviewing purposes). This product was an absolute NIGHTMARE to assemble. Many others stated that the instructions are not included, but assembly was intuitive; I also did not receive any explanation as to how this thing would come together, but I found it anything but self-explanatory. I Googled the hell out of this thing looking for some help, but only found blog reviews from other lucky shoppers that received this product free of charge. I contacted the company several times requesting instructions of clarification and they never responded.Much of my difficulty was due to the fact that the pieces did not screw together and had to be forced. While I was practically reduced to tears fighting with this thing for over an hour, my heroic husband finally shoved it together somehow with various tools and some frustration (but way fewer expletives than my own attempt). I hope that this was unique to my experience because the my product appeared to be faulty; the screwing parts were incompatible and stripped.Assuming this is not part of the defect (because others mentioned it), the cover piece does not extend to cover the bottom of the center pole, which is a weird oversight that is unattractive and confusing while assembling. I ended up spray painting the whole thing to disguise it and it's alright if no one is looking closely.With all that said, the finished product does look nice for the price due to the heavy material, though it is a little wobbly. I would buy several more for my wedding tables if I was convinced the one I purchased was defective and I was provided proper instructions. Be careful of the cupcake holder pieces as the sides will probably need to be bent back into shape after shipping/assembly beats them into wonky shapes.

Worked perfect looked amazing! Fit for regular cupcakes with beautiful lace liners!Whoever cannot put this together.........I don't even know what to say.....it was easy, spins and everything! LOVE! I used it at my baby shower and i put it together : ) I will be using it for all baby girls birthday parties!

Really pretty and elegant. This is going to be used on my daughter's birthday tea table. The product arrived in excellent condition and was simple to assemble. I am pleased with how well it looks and how smoothly it turns. So cute!

This is absolutely gorgeous, love the quality, didnt realize it was this big...but its the perfect accent to any party!! Great Buy!!!

looks adorable! Got it for my daughters first birthday but will be reusing it for future parties. The only reason I took off one star was because it is not sturdy as I expected and it wobbles even with the cupcakes in it.
