I purchased an XML-T6 August 2018. It is the best flashlight I ever owned. I was pleased to see the "same" model XML-T6 offered at a lower price when purchased as a pair. I purchased a pair January 2019 and found them to be deficient compared to the original. In particular, the light beam is not as bright as the original and the illuminated field does not focus to the smaller area that the original does. There are some additional features in the newer version, but they are not useful to me. In the pictures, the "new" is on the left, the previous is on the right. Note the difference in light intensity and reduced focus. I think a different model number for the new item is appropriate. I do believe this is still a good flashlight, but not as good as I expected.

Bright lights, with a durable well made housing. A nice compact light with plenty of lumens, and good battery life. Easily carried in a belt holster for quick access while working, or in camp.
