German for Children: Volume 1: Entertaining and constructive worksheets, games, word searches, colouring pages (Bee German German for Children: Volume 2)

This was a great book to use in lockdown ;) My eight year old son was kept busy as he could follow the worksheets easily himself, giving me a bit of time to work! At the end I could check and practice with him what he had learnt. with good results. I can't find volume 2 though. Please bring to amazon!

Very simple so great for kids to learn basics. There are some ace prompts as well if you want to use it to develop some of your own material if you are a teacher/tutor/homeschooler. Clear and concise font with enough material to feel worth paying for. Would recommend for adult learners to who want to learn some basic German.

Bought this book for my niece - she loves it! We’re colouring in the pictures right now and learning some German words and phrases as we go. I bought her a couple of German-learning, kids books but this is by far the best. It’s fun, has loads of cool activities and has an easy to follow curriculum. The free, online Beegerman lessons are also great in conjunction with the book! Definitely getting volume 2!

Bought this book for my boyfriend who's not a child and even though book is written for children, it's really good for adult learners as well. If you're easily bored with 'standard' learning materials or if you find it hard to stay focused, this book is great as it uses playful ways of learning. Additionally, the use of pictures helps if you're a more visual learner. Can't wait for more!

Bought this for grandson. Like the variety of activities for a young child to complete. Well structured and well thought out activity book. Keeps the child interested in learning useful German vocabulary.

I love this! I have been looking for something simple for my younger German students, but most books are designed for high school or older. This is a great book of worksheets for younger students. I also like the website!

Gut aufgebautes Buch, mit dem ich mit meinem Enkel auf der anderen Seite der Erde Deutschunterricht mache. Schade dass es keinen zweiten Band gibt! Zwei Anmerkungen für den Verlag und einen Nachdruck Überschriften Seite 5, 12, 24, 27ff: Read and learn auf Deutsch ist LIES und lerne = Imperativ (NICHT LESE, das ist falsch). Bei einem Deutschbuch wäre eine Korrektur angebracht...Die Doppellaute EI, EU, AU werden heute immer als Laut wie ein Buchstabe behandelt (Zahlensalat S. 17) - das für die Kinder leichter zu erkennen. Die Kritik nur am Rande für Neuauflage, i ch warte auf zweiten Band, danke !
