Wow!Very intense retreat! I could not complete it due to work schedule. I'll reattempt soon as I know what to expect and can allot for it.Review of conscious can be used anytime. It'd be trying to repeat this each year although the benefits would be enormous! But one can read through them.Ignore the anti SSPX comments. I don't adhere to their complaints 100% but see valid points. FSSP provides same traditional approach but I digress.One the finer do it yourself modern spiritual exercises. I opted for 33 Days To Morning Glory this time around and when renewing in the coming years will truly attempt to incorporate this approach.

I purchased this book many years ago at Our Lady of The Island Shrine on Long Island. However, I loaned it out to someone and never got it back. Each year I renew my Consecration and needed this book even though I do have other Consecration books by Montfort. I like this book because it delves deeply into establishing a relationship with Our Lady as the closer we get to Her, the closer we get to Her Son, which is Her ultimate goal. I am so happy I found this book on Amazon as the Shrine discontinued selling it.

Very comprehensive. Very time consuming so be prepared to be dedicated. Great material!

Great book for the Marian Consecration

This book is an amazing work. I personally loved the book because it goes in-depth and gives some very detailed examples and requirements on how to become closer to Jesus through Mary. I love how St. Louis writes that "If Jesus came to us (being born) through Mary, should we not, then, go through Mary to get to Jesus?" This book is kind of old-school in verbage and has quite a few pages. If that's not your style, I suggest you look at the book 33 Days to Morning Glory by Micheal Gaitley. Its practically the same concept but a shorter version.

This is an excellent guide to the Total Consecration.One disgruntled reviewer has said it cannot "be trusted" because it was written by a priest in the Society of St. Pius X. The content of the guide does not even point to it being written by an SSPX priest, and the it contains absolutely nothing questionable.I would recommend this guide to every Catholic looking to unite them self more to Jesus through Mary.
