Necessary plastic tools to tune frequency coils
This tool set is necessary when tuning coils used to set frequencies in a frequency device. They are made of plastic which will allow them to adjust the coil without affecting the coil's frequency setting. If the tools were made of metal, they would effect the coil's frequency setting.

A necessity for vintage electronics
What more can I say? If you’re working on vintage electronics these are a necessity. It’s a nice set and a great price!

USE ONLY at < 1 MHz!!
Cheap enough, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Suitable only for AM or FM IF alignment at best; not suitable for FM RF alignment or TV IF at 45 MHz.The tools are of a rubbery plastic not firm enough to use the 'screwdriver' end. Also and very importantly, the cheap plastic is a poor dielectric and disturbs the coil alignment as much as a ferrous tool would, or nearly so.Never use these tools above a few MHz. at best!!

fits older CB radios trim pots perfect, have not tried on other ham, portable receivers and such. A nice cheap set of alignment tools. Should work fine.

Wouldn’t buy again
They aren’t as sturdy as I expected. Don’t think they would last long with daily use
