Must have for concrete project! Easy to store unused portion, good customer service, fast shipping!
This is 2nd order of this product. I am doing a lots of concrete project and this works well. Also it's much cheaper than some other brand that comes in the bottle polishing item. Trying to understand the manual is bit challenging, but I've contact them and I got my answers right away.Note: When you use Densifier, i suggest using spray bottle. First, I made a mistake of pouring right on the concrete and spread with brush. Using it on my method, it doesn't dry fast. Also, it is a waste.11/29/2013 Edit(additional notes on "Densifier/Sealer")My project: Cast In Place Concrete Counter-topI finally able to finished in my 'cast in place concrete kitchen counter-top' this weekend. 1/2 part of the kitchen was done during the summer. This was a big DIY job, especially when pouring concrete cast in place. I've encounter many difficult issues working with concrete. Most difficult part of this project was to sand/polishing vertical surface around the 3 bowl under mounting kitchen sink with several curve lines. Cast in place counter-top's concrete is 2" thick and it did not give me much surface to sand/polish. It was almost impossible to polish the area without scratching the stainless steel sink. I've sanded and polished with wet sander starting from grit #50 to $3000 in stages. I've used manual diamond pads and electric wet sander/polisher to smooth out as much as possible. Even though I was managed to bring my counter-top to have very smooth surface over all, it did not shine as much as I expected. It also has multiple pin-holes and some uneven surface. This Densifier covers pin holes and even out the surface. It also gives concrete looks rich deeper tint. After curing solution dried and polish the counter-top with 3000 grit, surface now looks like wet glass. This product finished my most difficult DIY project, "Cast In Place kitchen Concrete Counter-top" very nicely! If you ever work with concrete, you'll understand that no matter how much you sanded/polished concrete you'll see imperfection on surface. In my opinion, this imperfection delivers unique beauty if imperfection was done purposely. This product helped me achieve the looks that I was looking for. I am very surprised this product was not mentioned in the Concrete Network website. All DIYers should know what this product can do for them and cost effective.

Did not provide shine like countertop granite
I purchased this material a few weeks ago. About 9 years ago I had granite kitchen countertops installed and I saved the cutout for the sink---a fairly large piece. This cutout sat out in the Arizona sun in my side yard for 9 years and lost its granite countertop shine---understandably. I decided to use this piece to make a coffee table this year. I first bought a series of diamond sanding disks up to 3000 grit with a buffer and could not reproduce the mirror shine still on our kitchen countertops. I also tried two brands of polishing compound and this densifier product. None of these products could come close to reproducing the mirror like shine of the granite in my kitchen. I mixed this densifier and curing agent as directed and tried it two ways. I made one application with the densifier/curing agent mix. I could not achieve a shine with any of my high grip diamond polishing pads (up to 3000 grit) nor with the buffer pad nor with a horsehair buffing pad. I then tried, per directions, multiple layers of the densifier followed by curing agent. I tried 3, 6 and 9 layers none of which achieved anything close to the shine I desired---using the horsehair buffing pad as a final buff. I had hoped to use the product on my countertops where wear has produced a gritty surface but the lack of shine would make any repaired area look terrible compared to the rest of my countertops. Bottom line----it did not work. Too bad.

Not sure it does what it's advertised to do
I have used it on several different pieces of granite to help fill a crack and help "densify" the surface from sanding. I honestly can't tell if it did anything, although after 4 applications on one area, and leaving it on for several days, it may have helped to reduce the small voids you find in granite. I was expecting something like an epoxy or urethane that would fill to allow a nice shiny polishable surface. It did not. At least it was not expensive and shipped fast.

good purchase
I have not used the product yet. I did sand some granite with 3000 grit and it did not have the shine I was looking for so I am hoping this will give me the shine I want from the granite
