FeinTech VSP01202 HDMI 2.0 Splitter 1x2 with 4K HDR Down-Scaler Audio-EDID Black

I’ve always loved the aesthetic of the Sony A7S 4K but I now use all my atomos 4k recorders on other camera rig set ups and I don’t like changing set ups or breaking down set ups I just have lots of cameras instead that I can just pick up with freshly charged batteries and shoot. I had an old ninja2 and spare rig parts that I wanted to use on my a7s but even tho I usually down sample to 1080p I missed the 4k downsampled quality so I bought the Lilliput 4k monitor to draw the 4k as the A7S doesn’t do it in camera. Unfortunately feeding the liliput feed into the ninja didn’t work so it didn’t give me 4k downsampled footage. So I bought this little device and it’s brought my old A7S back to life producing stunning imagery that stands out from all the latest camera images out there. Highly recommended and saved me a few hundred pound ny not having to purchase a new 4k recorder.

This is the third product of this type I tried and first to work as advertised so far. I have a 4k projector and 1080p TV both connected to Sony receiver. The problem I had was if I set sky Q to 4k it would not show picture on TV, I would have to go deep into sky q settings to set to 1080p, this product sorted this out. Other products I tried have complex switches but all I got was flashing TV picture, this product has no switches and just works.

This product is an absolute bargain if you have a complicated AV setup. So in my case I have a CYP PU-8H8HBTE-4K22 HDMI matrix distributing various sources to TVs and Projectors around the house. Whilst most displays are now 4K, a few are still 1080p only. Without this item the signal from sources such as Sky Q would be degraded to 1080p only everywhere, however with this downscaler everything runs at its highest resolution. Specialist downscalers by firms like CYP cost many multiples of the cost of this item, yet this does the job perfectly adequately (especially given it is a stop gap until the final displays are upgraded as well). I can't recommend this enough, a brilliant bargain product!

Wanted to connect Sky Q mini box to projector and TV screen and stream to both at the same time - box ticked.

Some tv's can be fussy over signals and I couldn't get this splitter to work properly. Might be OK in a straightforward application?

I plugged the FeinTech VSP01204 into my 4K Panasonic TV to user the splitter to downscale the signal one HDMI port to 1080p to my HDMI 1.4 Yamaha soundbar. Unfortunately it caused my Yahama soundbar to have issues. It caused it to Auto mute soundbar every few minutes. I have tried multiple different cables and HDMI sockets to no avail. Could be possibly the splitter has a compatibility issue with Viera Link / CEC / ARC.

Does everything described except HDR. Have tried everything and no HDR output. And although it was advertised as with an EU plug, that was still a disappointment.

Splits Dolby Atmos/Dolby Vision signals correctly. Use 8K HDMI leads to eARC sockets

Werkt niet voor een soundbar met Earc only. Wel met de overige functies.

Este difusor funciona a la perfección en dos imágenes simultáneas de proyector 4k y tv 4k , calidad excelente y sin interferencias. Eso sí hay que conectarles cables adecuados, creo que las valoraciones negativas que hay son realmente porque no han colocado cables 2.0 como mínimo, por debajo de esto comienzan la inestabilidad, nieblas y reinicios continuos. Sin problema para el hdcp 2.2 de Movistar por ejemplo, lo acepta sin problema. En fin, yo sí lo recomiendo.

Super. La qualité du produit est excellente et fait très exactement ce qui est décrit. Le boitier met juste quelques secondes en cas de changement de résolution supportées des sorties ou d'un on/off d'un des récepteurs.
