I use it for an 18 inch saw works perfect
Works just like I thought it would when I bought it. 18 inch saw fits real nice. You’re able to carry your gloves your extra chains in your Borroel. I think it was a good buy

You want this case
Not only does it not scream "I'm a chainsaw, steal me!" from a mile away since it's black and not bright orange, but it's cheaper than the husky branded case, even though it's still a husky case using the Swedish brand name.Doesn't hold my files very well, but that's maybe because I don't have the 'official' husky brand files. plenty of room for oil, fuel, gloves, and 2 canvas log carriers. File guide storage took some modifying to get it to fit, but again, I don't have the husky brand tool for that either.

Seems to be alright.
Box arrived a bit beat up, but all the parts and pieces were there. It is an interesting piece as two panels are fused together with a plastic hinge and then the other two attach to that via plastic pins. Although they are a tight fit, I am concerned they will fall out over time. The side pieces are affixed by pushing them on to 3 plastic pins. The latches holding the lid of the box down are plastic and snap into place; there was really no reassuring click when pushing them in, so I hope they do not fall off as if they do the box will no longer be able to be carried unless you screw in your own latches. The bar guard slides into place and was a very tight fit on my saw bar. You do not have to use this as a saw box as the bar guard is removable and a filler piece is provided. There are cutouts for bar oil, 2-stroke oil, files, your scrench, sparkplug, a saw sharpening vise, and a couple of other pieces (UPDATE: After getting the tools ready to put in the case, the spark plug interferes with the scrench going into its slot So the scrench will not be retained if you have a spark plug in the assigned slot). There are two pieces of hook and loop (velcro) that hold the saw down to keep it from shifting around during transport. The box appears to be of a generic variety as the Jonsered sticker was hastily applied, but it appears of decent quality, fits my Jonsered 2240 with 16" bar well, and is made in the U.S.A. After my first impressions, I am satisfied with the saw box and would purchase again.

Doesn’t fit a Stihl MS 290
I purchased this as a case for my MS290. The review stated it would fit. It didn’t. Not even close. I kept the cast because it did fit the MSA140 I had just purchased the week before. The case itself is good. I keep my other saw equipment in there with the electric saw. Worked out ok.

Black Husqvarna Power Box
Same as the Husqvarna Power Box, just black. It’s a blow molded box, like an Igloo cooler without the foam. Square shape is nice because it can stack. Fits my Stihl MS271 Farm Boss perfectly with the Stihl scabbard on. Saw sits in a recess, so if I forget to open the bar oil tank and release the pressure, it captures the oil. Keeps everything together and clean in my dusty shop. It’s not bomb proof, but it works nice.

Replacement for one I accidentally burned
Replacement for one I accidentally burned, Well I accidentally burned my brother-in-law’s case on his Chainsaw so I ordered Dess put his chainsaw inside of it through some dirt on it and put it back and I hope they wouldn’t notice and he never dead thank you very much and do not use 3-D printer plastic to make an ashtray I did that OK my son did that I put it on top of the chainsaw case put my cigarette out in the house or nephew came in and apparently it almost caught on fire BUT the other melted so I had to cover it up and I used this to do so, So when you make a mistake you cover your mistakes by buying a new one replacing it and never telling anybody

Imaginitive Chainsaw Case, Rugged and Done Right!
Nice case, rugged and sturdy, takes a little imaginative umph, to get all pieces together, and determine the case can be used with or without scabbord. Clever design with a lot of imaginative integration for additional tools too. Overall, nice case, now I just need my damn saw already 😂

You get what you pay for, and in this case a lot less. Garbage Product!
This is really poorly made. The holes in the unit weren't even drilled out. All plastic and completely garbage connectors. I had to drill out and place 14 tie wire connections to hold these units together. They are made to last about a month of actual use, if that. I would have definitely sent it back if I hadn't drilled the holes to hold it together. Find a better product, I have a Stihl case and it is 1000% better. I have seen so many other cases that are just way better made. Again I would say this is $5 worth of cheap plastics and you will be sad you paid anything for this garbage! Look elsewhere!!!
