Projector Lamp LMP-H180 for SONY VPL-HS10, VPL-HS20

As advertised! Works great in my older Sony projector.

bulb never worked right-- projector lights less than half the time with this bulb in it-- it is a cheap generic replacement that is awful. Stay away! Also, never wait to install something like this because the time to return flies by. I waited till the room was ready to install it and now its too late to return it!WASTE OF MONEY!Follow up on August 8, 2013- SO it appears that although this bulb was advertised as sold by GP Products and fulfilled by Amazon, GP products claims they have no record of the order. PLEASE BE WARNED- GP Products sells generic bulbs, not OEM replacements-- and certainly not SONY brand replacements as was advertised in another bulb product. I have gone back and forth with GP products over this sale and have not received any satisfaction. It is outside of Amazon's return period due tot he fact that the projector wasn't installed until the room was re-done-- so it was sitting in the box unused for longer than the return period-- Costly, Lesson learned! I can't figure out how to get in touch with Amazon for help outside of the return period . . . no easy "contact us" anywhere.

Product fit nice and seems to be almost equal to original Sony lamp and worked perfect. Have changed the lamp before with original lamp, and this was same experience.

I installed this into our Sony projector and it lasted roughly 60 days. The projector showed under 100 hours of lamp use since being installed. I am glad I was within the 90 warranty, so I contact Amazon which is handling the return.I decided to try another brand other than Pureglare as I am not about to spend over $250 on a Sony OEM lamp. My understanding is that Philips makes them for Sony, so hopefully I will get better results. The new Philips bulb has a 6 month warranty, so we will see how it goes.

This Pureglare LMP-H180 lamp installed without a problem and works well. I have only used it for 15 minutes and plan to update the review in a few months. At that time I might bump it up to 5 stars. The lamp was delivered promptly.Update. Couple of weeks after installing, screen said to replace the bulb. Recently realized the bulb is dead. We rarely watched movies with this projector, so really don't know how long it really lasted. I will reduce my rating from 4 stars to one. BTW, I paid $60 for the bulb, now it's about $30.

This lamp lasted for about 2 weeks before it started getting dimmer and dimmer. After the 3rd week it's almost totally dark.We can barely see the screen anymore. Of course it lasted until I was unable to send it back. I contacted the seller and have not received a response. My previous lamp lasted for over 10 years, it was not the same brand though...

I was nerves at first when I ordered this lamp but it turned out to be great fit and price for my replacement lamp. love it need to order another for backup before football season.After written review this lamp only lasted 6 months and it died on me will not buy another.

Just like the others here... my bulb worked like a champ for the first two weeks, then.. poof! Dead. My original Sony bulb lasted for about 6 YEARS. This bulb lasted no more than 6 hours of viewing. What the heck?!!
