Maple syrup always reminds me of the fall. It certainly has a warm, rich autumnal flavor. This book is a nice compilation of recipes both savory and sweet, and has some cool anecdotes about growing up during mapling season. I was interested in the history of maple sugar, and the author does touch on it, but I would've loved something a bit more extensive. The images are beautiful and catch the eye. The book has a nice layout, although the printed pages have a slight odor.I liked the idea of using maple syrup to sweeten cocoa, and I'm going to try that. I have purchased this book in Kindle and know I will enjoy making recipes from it.

This cookbook is a MUST have!!! I am a cookbook junkie and this one is really great! She and I live in the same town.....one of these days, I'm going to try to find her and thank her!!!Her maple balsamic vinegrette is really lovely! I'm vegan and there's plenty of recipes that I can make as is or easily veganize.

Great recipes. Good ideas. Basically replace the sweet part of any recipe with maple syrup... Still a good cook book because it spells out how to do some awesome dishes.

We produce maple syrup and I love this book! It has a lot of great recipes that I am dying to try! We cooked the sweet potato peanut maple soup for an open house event and everyone loved it! It also gives some history about maple syrup and discusses the benefits of using pure maple products. LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!

I had checked this out prior to purchasing it. . .and, due to the fact that I use a lot of maple syrup, I am glad to have this as part of my cookbook collection.

Gave it to my daughter who hates cookbooks in general (an internet girl) however she absolutley loved it and said she thinks it wil be her favorite cookbook ever.She loved the choices of recipes and the pictures. All and all a great cookbook if you love maple syrup.

Being a huge fan of maple syrup, I knew I needed this book. I love that it covers sweet and savory dishes, showing how versatile maple syrup really is. The recipes are phenomenal, the photos are gorgeous, and the stories make you feel like you're part of the family. This quickly became one of my favorite cookbooks!

I'm incredibly happy with this cookbook! The chicken thigh recipe was the first one I tried and it was a hit! The hazelnut and maple cream cookies are amazing! So, happy to have a cookbook that uses an alternative sweetener. A worthwhile, fun and delicious purchase!
