Cheese Making for Beginners
Some fairly easy recipes and clear directions will help you learn the cheese making process. Only quibble I have is with the grammar that, on occasion, detracts from the flow of the book. It could stand a good edit, but doesn’t make the book unreadable.

Very Thorough, Very Knowledgeable
Mr. Melburne has presented a very well written book on cheese making. Had I not found one (inexcusable) error in ingredients "3/8 of culture". 3/8ths WHAT? Teaspoon? Tablet? Pound? If I studied the recipe long enough I'm sure I could figure it out. However, even the directions were no help. "Mix the culture into the milk". That doesn't help one bit.Anyway, beyond that, I think I got a lot more out of this book than probably any combination of most two others. (There was one book by a Mr. Peno that I believe was outstanding and well written.)

Review of Beginners Guide to Cheesemaking
My husband and I really enjoyed the way it was written and easy steps to produce your own cheese. Good hobby to keep my busy; new hobby since his retiring! I’ll enjoy trying my hand at it!
