Working weill, def add a APEC Permeate Pump and APEC Water Systems Leak Detector
1. The system works great, UV nice +. 2. Adding the Permeate Pump (bought separately and added, not too hard) is key. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SD73DA6?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details 3. Add the leak detector shut-off for peace of mind. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B9R6NKGQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details 4. The ice maker kit is also a nice add and easy to do. You also get the extra line, which you can use for pump installation. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N5D7ZFW?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 The system is working great. I tried a Brondell Circle system first; it did not make the cut and water just dribbled out, so after checking into RO systems more, the APEC came in as the clear winner. You can't miss this system, yet I do recommend adding the Permeate Pump and an auto shut-off valve device, both sold by APEC and you can order on AMZ. Lots of testimonials on the value of the pump. It is a bit work work and planning vs the other options, yet you are getting a system/filters that are designed to last a year vs 6 months. You also get the UV which is nice having well water. Just change things out according to product details depending on your water source. The ice maker add is also working fine with this source (recommend removing any water filter in the fridge, you don't need it or to keep paying for refrigerator filters); the espresso machine loves the RO water, the humidifier no longer has gunk in it, the water we use for tea does not leave sediment/film on the boiler, and it tastes good too. When adding the pump, watch a couple of YouTube videos. KEEP the shut-off valve. You'll need a bit of extra tubing (again, you can get that with the fridge option kit). I drilled holes in the mounting bracket and added the pump clip there with a little foam in the middle to absorb the clicking sound. I also put foam around the drain tube coming out of the pump. That cut down on the noise, yet it really is not that bad. It will really go click-click during the fill and then refill at first use, which is totally normal. After that, it only clicks a bit to keep things topped off. For the leak detector, I recommend adding that after the installation to make sure there are no leaks initially. Also, don't put the expansion pill until you have it installed and there are no leaks. You don't want it going off early. The shut-off valve has some slight screening in the plastic, I suspect this could get clogged (especially if you are on a well like me) over time since that shut-off is connected to water coming in (Pre-Filter), yet that is where you want it. Make sure you remove some of the foam on the bottom to allow water to flow to the pill material so it can expand and shut off if needed. You don't need a 1/4-/2 inch of water under your sink; you want that shut-off valve exposed to water quickly if there is a leak. There are easy to remove cutouts in the foam. Those cutouts allow the water to reach the device. Also, don't put it way in the back; keep it where you can get to it. Again, for $15 get the icemaker kit too. You get an extra line that you can use for the pump if you are going keep using the existing icemaker/water line to the fridge. That is what I did, worked fine. Overall I am totally impressed and satisfied all the way around with APEC product and their customer support. I called them a couple of times before buying and they were really good.

Should Have Bought This Years Ago
I started noticing gut issues and some other problems I was having and I suspected our tap water was causing it. I drink a lot of water, and we live in a rural ag community, our water is terrible. Our town was on notice from the EPA for arsenic levels for a long time, lots of ag runoff contamination in our ground water, and then the city water is so chlorinated it smells like a pool. Regularly seeing 400+ TDS out of our tap. I have gone through brita and zero water systems and out town water spoiled the filters in about 2 weeks. So I finally bought this system. My water now tests at 15 TDS reliably, tastes great, clean, clear, and the filters have been cleaning that nasty water for about 2 months now and still holding strong. I'm very happy with the system. My only complaint is the UV filter doesn't have a flow control switch on it, so the light stays lit all the time. If it sits for about an hour or more, it will get the water hot enough to steam. Luckily I had a switched outlet below my sink for an old disposal we don't have anymore, so I can switch it on and off as necessary. It would be much more convenient for there to be a flow switch on the system that turns the light on and off when the system is flowing water.

Great Filtration Performance, But UV Light Design Could Be Improved
I have been using the APEC Water Systems ROES-UV75-SS for some time now, and overall, I’m very satisfied with its performance. The filtration capability is excellent, significantly reducing TDS levels from 181 ppm in my tap water to just 6 ppm in the purified water. The taste is noticeably clean, and it performs on par with or better than bottled purified water. Pros: ✅ Strong Filtration Efficiency – The system effectively removes impurities, providing very low TDS levels in the output water. ✅ No More White Residue in Humidifier – One of the best results I’ve noticed is that after switching to this RO water for my humidifier, there is no longer any white powder buildup on the floor, which used to be a major annoyance. ✅ Wastewater Can Be Repurposed – While the system does produce a fair amount of wastewater, I use it to water my backyard plants, so it doesn’t feel wasteful. Cons: ❌ High Wastewater Ratio – The TDS of the wastewater is slightly higher than the input tap water, measuring 200 ppm. Although expected with RO systems, it’s something to consider. ❌ UV Light Stays On Constantly – This is my biggest issue. The UV light does not turn on and off based on water flow; instead, it remains on continuously. This leads to a slight increase in the temperature of the filtered water, making it lukewarm instead of cool. It would be much better if the system allowed the UV light to be flow-activated rather than always on. Test Data: • Tap Water: TDS 181 ppm, EC 382 μS • RO Purified Water: TDS 6 ppm, EC 14 μS • Wastewater: TDS 200 ppm, EC 421 μS • Bottled Mineral Water: TDS 77 ppm, EC 163 μS • Bottled Purified Water: TDS 31 ppm, EC 65 μS Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for an RO system with strong purification, this is a great choice. The UV light issue is the only thing that prevents me from giving it five stars. If APEC updates the design so that the UV lamp only activates with water flow, this would be a perfect system. Otherwise, I highly recommend it!

Excellent RO System, Great investment & Every house needs one
I don't do much reviews but I really like this system and the water tasted great. I did alot of research and decided to go with this system for my first RO system because it came with uv filtration and akalinize the water. Instructions and installation was straight foward. I had no leaks. The thing I was confused about was the uv beaker and oring. I didn't see any instructions for that unless I overlooked it but ive included some pictures how to install it and also the uv installed first. Ive saw alot of reviews complaining about the water coming out hot from the uv sterilizer so I decided to go with installing the uv sterilizer at the beginning of the system. You can just install the way it just run the water till all the hot water is out the system. My thought behind installing the uv first was that the water would be sterilized first before going into the filters so there wouldn't be any organism living in the filters and also the water would have time to cool down from the uv. There's directions how to reverse the uv in the picture gallery from a other reviewer. Tap water 284 tds, filtered 42 tds. Bottled water was 32 tds, 8 tds difference. Overall great system!

Water leak after two years - APEC Water ROES-UV75-SS system
This review is for the APEC Water ROES-UV75-SS system. I also purchased and installed the High Purity PH+ Calcium Carbonate Alkaline Filters. Unfortunately, this system started leaking just 26 months after purchase. The leak began as a small drip from the Stage 2 housing and eventually spread to Stage 1. It has now become a significant leak, to the point where I have had to keep a bucket underneath the system for weeks. The unit was never moved, modified, or mishandled, and my water pressure measures a normal 50 PSI. After inspecting the system, I found that the housing cap assembly (Version B) had developed a crack, which is the source of the leak (see attached photos). As a result, the system is currently unusable because water is continuously streaming from the damaged housing. I contacted APEC Water customer service today and was informed that the warranty had expired, so I would need to purchase a replacement part at my own expense. While the customer service representative was courteous and professional, I was disappointed that a critical component failed after only a little over two years of use. What makes this especially frustrating is that I just spent approximately $150 to replace all of the filters. For a system at this price point, I expected better durability and reliability. The attached photos show the care I took to protect and maintain the system. Despite that effort, a major component still failed prematurely. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this water filtration system.

Reliable RO system
Great RO system and great customer service. The ROES-UV75-SS arrived with a broken UV bulb, called APEC customer service and they quickly send me a replacement.

Amazing
I went to my brother's house for the holiday, in which I drank some water that was inside his fridge. I was blown away by the taste, in which I asked him what company the water was from. Living in an area where we have well water , there can be many deposits in the water etc. He should be this system underneath his sink and I immediately got one. The hardest part was running an outlet for the power since I'm not an electrician. After I completed that, the actual system install is so easy. I took my time and maybe had two hours into it or less. I decided not to hang the cartridges since it is easier to slide it out of the kitchen cabinet for service and less holes in the woodwork. I highly recommend this system.
