Quiet and warms my space quickly. I use it in my home office.

When I received this, and used it a couple of times, I didn't like it for couple reasons...I guess it was because I was use to the other ones I purchased for the price. And I also didn't like it didn't have a safety knock on the botton (like when it topples over or your cat knocks it off it will automatically turn off). Then I used the energy saver button and since i sleep with it by my bedside and don't use the house gas/heater it will automatically lower on the energy saver button so i don't get too hot. And it saves me a lot of energy. It was on sale when I purchased it. It was definitely worth the money.

The media could not be loaded. Opened the box, plugged it in... And it doesn't work. All the control lights come on and the heating coil gets hot, but the fan doesn't turn, it won't oscillate, and none of the buttons do anything. Watch the video I posted with this review. Returning to Amazon and going to a brick and mortar store for a different heater. Disappointing... Where is the quality control at Black+Decker?!

The heater is compact so it will sit on table easily although i wont be using it that way for it could easily get knocked off on the floor and not cut off. It is very quiet and puts out enough heat to heat my room of 120 sq ft. The controls are quiet different to set but once you get used to using them i think they may even be better than the twist dial thermostats. It says that it is infrared heat but i dont think that it is because it has a wire inside that glows hot instead of infrared design but that dont matter because they all are only 1500 watts regulated but the heater is quiet and small and heats very well and is a good price at 31 dollars.

This was absolutely perfect for winter months. My fiancé‘s office keeps toasty when he uses this, and we love that you can set the temperature. He will commonly have it on 65 heat. We didn’t notice a large jump in our power bill after having it as well.

Does not have knock over switch but that’s ok for me. I sit it on a closed portable AC that’s steady but slightly slanted top.

I'm not a big fan of this heater. It really doesn't blow out the heat very far, which I'm used to. The temp control drives me nuts. It goes in 5 degree increments, which I didn't think was a big deal at first, but it definitely is. I put it in my kitchen for very cold nights. If I use it at 70 degrees, it's not quite warm enough, but the next option which is 75 degrees, is too warm and runs faaar longer. Also, pushing the button over and over to change temps or the long hold to get it to come on is not for me. Keeping it, but wouldn't buy again.
