Cheap but works fine.
Needed this tool because I switched to a different type of ignition coil and needed a terminal to match. This double crimped the MSD terminal without any issue, both the insulation and the core.Take your time with it and study how it works. There’s no instructions with it but everything makes sense once you get into it. I’ve never done a plug wire terminal before and got a great result on the first try.

Good quick tool at a great price
At this price I find this tool excellent for what I needed. Crimping spark plug wire connectors was easy and smooth. As others have stated it's not a wire stripper (many other tools available for that; and for spark plug wires all you need is a box cutter with a new blade). I crimped 8mm spark plug wires by stripping 1/2" of insulation, folding wire under, with pliers squeeze ends together slightly, slide into crimp slot, and squeeze handles (key is to use both hands, a hard surface, and really crimp down with one hand on the handles and the other on the tip off the pliers). They work just fine, and will do many sets of wires if you treat your tools with respect.

Good quality tool.
Absolutely good quality tool. I was able to crimp ends onto quality wires. Even first try I achieve a production quality crimp. I figure this tool will pay for itself even if I only use it once more. I thought I'd have to squeeze the terminal a bit before it would fit into the tool-but with diligence I was able to simply crimp it in one pass.

For the price and probable one time use they were just okay.
It served its purpose for crimping the distributor terminals of 4 wires plus the coil wire. Even though they weren’t spread too wide I had to pre-close the brass terminals with pliers to get them. Despite my best efforts the pliers didn’t really crimp the tabs over in an even crimp. I had to do a couple of them over. My wires were a really soft silicone rubber - I think the pliers might be better suited to a much harder rubber covering. For the price and probable one time use they were just okay.

Works great, used with universal wire set from local parts store.
Yup, these do a great job. Not a cheap tool at all. Used them to make a wire set for a 1953 dodge 230 flathead 6, and replace the original cloth covered wires! I bought a universal wire set from Autozone, part number 1601, which came with 90 degree ends on one side. You can also get part number 1600, which has straight ends on the one side. They are typical modern 7mm resistance wires, made in the USA (at least for now). Either kit has 8 wires plus a coil wire. Engine now runs beautifully.

Crimp Tool
Looks great and should do the job. Nice and tight with minimal to no deflection. I now have a crimper for future jobs. There's nothing like having the tool when you need it. Good price.

adequate but not spectacular
I bought these as a terminal crimper but not completely satisfied with the crimps when I used them , yes they do the job but I am a little skeptical on the connection not being as good as I would like it to be thus purchasing a die crimper afterwards and making another set up . I would recommend it if you aren't fussy but I am and when in a racing environment little things like terminal connections can become a huge issue if you are trying to track down an ignition problem at the track if a problem arises

... stripper/crimper combo tool I've used this one was a nice surprise in that it actually worked
Of this type of stripper/crimper combo tool I've used this one was a nice surprise in that it actually worked. I was skeptical when I ordered it and even when I took it out of the package but it didn't flex and the spark plug crimping function, which is why I bought it, worked great. Not that I've used a $100 one but i wasn't disappointed. I've never had a combo tool like this work well. I own a couple of pairs of Klein strippers and a Klein cutter/crimper which all work great and since I got this I find myself reaching for it as much as them.

Does the job
Tired of struggling with connectors at the end of the spark plug wires, this is perfect for crimping and has lots of other uses as well. well make and not flimsy when crimping :)
