White for Samsung Galaxy S5 Touch Screen Glass Digitizer + LCD Display Assembly

After shattering the glass on my S5 I decided to try replace the digitizer and glass as a unit. I have never attempted the task before but after watching a few You-tube videos I decided it was doable. Everything went well and the screen works fine. All the videos recommended not to attempt just a glass replacement as the screen is glued to the glass. That was good advice. My screen was working when I started the removal but by the time I got it out of the phone it was dead. Mostly the replacement takes a not of patience. I think the whole job took a little over an hour. I believe if I did one today I could do it in 30 minutes. Definitely watch a few different videos on it as everyone has a few different tips that helped. The biggest problem is the screen is held in with glue that you can pull apart after heating the phone. But it keeps wanting to reattach. I found that running business cards between the edge of the screen and the case and leaving them their kept the glue away from the screen and re attaching.

This product did not work. I tried on several different phones that I have access to and it did not work on any of the phones. The two plugs are connected but the screen is dead. The screen also appeared to maybe have been used before. It had dirty fingerprints all over it as if it was a used product.

Slow shipping took almost a month to get here. Was NOT a perfect match for my S5 through AT&T My home screen button is wired completely different than the one this came with. I was able to keep my old Home screen button so we made it work. Also the touchscreen isn't as sensitive as the one that came with my phone originally. It's even worse after I added a screen protector. Glad I have an upgrade in a few months, it got annoying real fast.

Screen will randomly bug out and act as if there are touches being registered. I am not touching the screen and these "ghost touches" occur about once every 20-30 seconds. Not sure if this is the screen's fault quite yet or if it's the Android OS. Currently I am in the middle of the update to Lollipop, so it may just be a bug. I will update this review if the ghost touches stop. Other than this problem, the screen fits great and does not have any visual problems. Shipping even came a day early.

This went on very easily, and worked perfectly. Highly recommend.

Doesn't even work, so mad since $120 is down the drain

good product but for the time and energy of buying this and putting it in. u might as well have a cell store do it, no risk in breaking your phone and it only saves u like 20 bucks.
