Spira Men's Wavewalker

It took a few days to adjust to these, but my planar fasciitis largely disappeared after a few weeks of use, and I find them very comfortable overall. I'm very satisfied.One issue: the backs have quickly broken down from pulling the shoes on and off repeatedly, so I wish that area was a little sturdier.I combine these with Sof Sole" Men's Airr Orthotic Performance Insoles", available on Amazon.

I have purchased 3 pair of these shoes. I do love the comfort of them. But they do not hold up. The front rubber scuff guard has peeled off on all three pair. On the two white pair I have the finish has failed very quickly. The white "polish" is badly abraded on both pairs, particularly the front half of the shoe. The shoe is not worn out physically but is cosmetically. I am a self employed contractor and having shoes that look worn out is not an image I want to project while working in my customers homes and business. Will I buy anymore of these shoes. Only if I am assured the quality has improved.

I have had flat feet and no arches all my life, from one pair of expected good shoe after another. Even asked some orthopedic doctors on what type of shoe. They always recommend something from a store who scratches each others backs for service. some types did better than others, only to ware out within a year or so. While looking online I discovered Spira, and took a chance. I was so happy I did. I have been wearing them now for 2 years. the first pair have not even worn out yet. I ordered this black dress style for work and I am extremely happy about the fit, style and price. This is NOT a fake review. I urge anyone who has problems to try this shoe. Make sure you order a size bigger than normal to accommodate orthopedic insoles. People with flat feet, please order extra wide. You will thank yourself.

For several years I have been searching for a pair of shoes that more or less forces you to walk the correct way (heel first). From the description, I thought these would do the trick. They weren't bad shoes, although a little clunky, but they really did not do the job I expected.

If you experience any kind of foot pain or your legs get tired and ache or you just want an excellent pair of shoes, any of the Spira brand offerings will satisfy. I've bought 5 different pairs now and as I suffer from severe neuropathy, I can attest to the pain relieving quality of these shoes. If you think about it, it just makes sense. The springs act as shock absorbers taking the concussive force of walking off your feet and putting it into the spring. I don't know about the recycled energy claims, I don't care much about that. What I do care about is pain relief and these shoes deliver that better than any other shoe on the market including custom made orthotics

There are better shoes out there. Not made to run in. They are light and you don't really feel the spring. I gave them to my uncle and he likes them. They do have a flat bottom which limits things outside of walking.

I am on my feet and required something comfortable with good support ... these Spira WaveWalkers have, so far, met my needs. Although I've only had them for three days, they are more than I expected ... hope this feeling lasts!

Light,, prefect fit (thanks to size and width variance) and durable.I don't just wer this shoes, I abuse it by using it even during the mild Winter day through the road salts and sands. I can get too lazy to change to snow boots sometimes and Spira is left to do the job. I am writing this review 2 years too late and thanks to Amazon reminder.. I can write this review in fairness to a good brand shoes. It's been more than 2 years and despite the abuse, slight wear on the upper portion but the sole is still surprisingly intact.
