I bought these as a replacement for canning jars and am very happy with them. For several years, I've been trying to reduce the amount of plastic in my life. When it came to something to store and drink smoothies from, I went with Ball jars because they were the right size for a single serving, went in the dishwasher, and had a wide enough mouth that I knew they were getting thoroughly clean. But they're wide and didn't fit well in my children's hands, bottle pockets on bags and barely fit into the cup holder in my car. So I was very excited when I found out that there were bottles like these that were made for actually drinking out of. They're easier to hold and will fit anywhere a regular size water bottle will fit. They're a nice quality and I think will last a long time. (As a bonus, they take up less cabinet space because they're tall and slim.) I used to make my own kefir and if I do go back to doing that, I will certainly be using these jars for it.The bottles come with a little flyer to get some free recipes. It took me a while to figure out how to redeem it since you have to use Facebook messenger to do so. The recipes were okay. Nothing new, but it was nice that they were perfectly proportioned to fill one bottle.I do have one complaint - I really wish there was an option to get a full set of straw lids and not just one. I have two kids and one straw lid. You can do the math and see why that's a problem LOL!

I love these jars because they are the perfect size to fit in cup holders and I can fill them all with my homemade juice and put them in the fridge and just grab and go every morning. It's so easy!! I'm not a fan of plastic anything so these glass jars with metal lids are awesome! The only thing I would add is maybe a second straw lid because my husband and I both use them and whoever gets up first takes the straw lid!

Good idea. Poor execution.The good:- The glass jars are sturdy, easy to fill and easy to drink from without a straw- When the lids are properly affixed to the top of the jars, they do not spill at all- The glass jars are re-usable, so you are helping the environment by avoiding single-use cups and strawsThe bad:- The jars are difficult to clean. Because they are long and relatively narrow, they do not get clean in the dishwasher, requiring a hand-cleaning after each use. And remnants of the beverage easily get caked onto the rounded portions of the jar requiring significant elbow grease to get the jars clean. Very inconvenient.- Every one of the lids I received began to rust after only a few uses and the black paint on the lids is peeling off. When I tried to clean the rust, it left a disgusting residue on towel I used to wipe the lids. I'm not comfortable using the lids for fear that the rust and paint will contaminate my beverage. And without the lids, the jars are worthless to me. Waste of money. I will try to return.

These are not 16 ounces. It is more like 14 ounces. It is 16 if you fill it up to the VERY TOP to where it can possible spill because it is too full. But if you fill it up where you can still close it, it is 14.We will keep it because 1. We don’t feel like returning it. 2. They are nice enough to keep.I just wish it were 16 ounces since we make juices and some recipes are for 16 ounces.

I lOVE these jars! They are a perfect size for holding, carrying, drinking and storing! I have to admit, I was taken aback by the price but they cost about 3 cups of cold brew at Starbucks! They pay for themselves if you carry your own in these jars! Some feedback mentioned the lid not fitting or leaking and as you can see in the photos, it fits perfectly and does NOT leak! And the straw lid has a hole for the straw so of course, I wouldn't use that lid to carry liquids. I'm glad I ignore those feedback and bought them!

I really wanted to like these smoothie jars. In fact I love the shape of them. However they are very leaky. One of the straw lids had a dent in it when I received it. They also do not have enough threads to easily screw on. I even tried buying replacement lids from a different company but the size is so odd no other lids will work.

I got these for making smoothies and frappes at home as well as at stores that allow you to bring your cup and they have worked wonderfully. They are the perfect size for a medium coffee or smoothie and can be used with the straw lid or with the normal lid—I like to put the lid on and throw it in my bag for school and work!
