Dickies Juniors' Bull Short

As with most dickies juniors products I ordered up and ended up with extra room, which is okay because these shrink even if they are washed on cold/cold and delicate. I have thick thighs and always stuggle with shorter shorts sliding up and causing chaffage. These are the perfect length to avoid all that without being too much a a stuffy look like a longer “Bermuda” short. However, the waist always leaves me with a gap because of sizing up- my waist is a 3- my thighs and bum are a 7. Once you get dickies sizing down these are comfortable and versatile. Pockets in the front aren’t all that deep, they are too small to hold an iPhone 7+ securely, but the back ones are spacious. My only huge complaint on these is the material does create piling after a while between your thighs. This is annoying as most people do not have a thigh gap and these shorts would otherwise last and last. You can shave off some of these piles, but it’s just something that annoy me. Then color will also fade even if washed on cold/cold/ delicate and inside out. Not as much of a deal breaker for me tho.

I have been searching for feminine BDU shorts for work at a fire house, and as a petite woman, had been hoping to avoid men's cargo shorts or paying $60 for women's. I tried a few different types of boys' uniform shorts without a whole lot of success, and then gave these a try.I bought the size 11, and typically wear about a 4-6 in women's. The back pocket is *just* big enough for my wallet (magic/cardholder style), and so far the belt loops have held up well to a belt with a molle pouch with my work-carry things (penlight/shears/phone/pens/notebook/etc). The color is a strong navy, the length is short enough and the styling sleek enough that I get teased -- which is good, because that means it looks good. Inseam is approximately the same as other women's/men's BDU shorts at an 8" inseam, but leg is fitted enough that I don't feel like someone can see my undershorts up them.I wear them with volleyball-short style undershorts, and of all the uniform clothing I have, I can move most easily in these. If I had to jump a hedge to escape a vicious chihuahua (those little guys are fast), this is the uniform I'd hope I'd be wearing.

Fits great

I bought these for my work uniform, they fit well and look as nice as possible for a work uniform. They are sturdy, and I expect the quality to last for a very long time.

Bought a size 5 for daughter. Hips and inseam are fine but the waist is a little big. Will need to wear a belt. Otherwise the shorts are a very nice quality and color.

They fit a little loose but I liked it like that. However, they shrink a little if you put them in the dryer.

I love these and wish Dickies wouldn’t have discontinued them!

These ran really small, especially in the waist. I always wear a size 9 in juniors. They are very well made and would have been perfect for work but sadly I returned them. Not sure if I will reorder these shorts. I don't want to order up a size and then have to send them back.
