A Pleasant Surprise
I purchased this not knowing what to expect at this price ($13), considering the pricing of the other HDMI switcher options. But I've had this for a couple of weeks and it seems fast and reliable. The discrete IR remote switching (with manual toggle option) make this ideal for automated home theater applications.Although a card reader is included in the price, I'm not sure why, since this seems somewhat unrelated to the switcher. In fact, the vendor omitted this from the original shipment, but shipped it separately when I inquired about it. The one concern I had was that there was no documentation (or support URL) included that might have explained that, although there is a DC power input on the unit, no DC adapter is included (or required). I discovered on connecting the cables that the unit draws its power from the HDMI connections themselves!

It works fine ... though I had some problem when changing from one device to another ... But it's just minor problem ...
