Love the Mint Candy Apple
I bought this off Amazon marketplace for the same reason that so many other people have mentioned: PRICE. Essie, along with OPI, is a great brand. While it can be streaky at times, as other reviewers have said, make sure the polish is thin and that it coats evenly. Sometimes, to make it really POP (especially if you are tan or dark-skinned) a third coat is necessary. On toes I recommend three coats for the big toe and two for other toenails. The secret to all of this is really the topcoat. While Essie has a great color, nothing can beat the glass-hard, shiny finish of Seche Vite. Combining Essie and Seche Vite looks like professional work. This color is also like "Audrey" by China Glaze. While I like the hardeners in China Glaze better, this color is prettier in Essie. It is never dingy and does not look washed out. Keep in mind that it looks a little more blue in real life than it does in the pictures online. If you want a more Green mint green, there is Go on Green by OPI, but I like this one the best (even though my middle name is Audrey). As usual, combine with Seche Vite for best results.

EXACT DUPE, better formula.
This color is not mint in my opinion, it is a light blue. I already knew this as I always look up swatches online before buying.. but I still expected a little more green. It's ok, not an issue whatsoever.Don't like the formula though. It's streaky and you can see the layers of polish at the bottom of the nail. I personally hate that buta lot of pastel polishes tend to be this way. If you're careful, clean up, and use a good top coat you should be fine... but but butI would not buy this again as I already had a very similar and pretty light blue by nyc which was two bucks.HOWEVER, if you have seen the swatches and LOVE this color... there is an EXACT dupe at the drugstore. It is the new Milani Color Statement nail lacquer in MINT CRUSH. It's cheaper as is and I got mine in a half off sale. The formula is definitely better and easier to work with. I applied both the essie and milani side by side.. you cannot tell thedifference whatsoever. Same exact color. If you can get your hands on it, I recommend passing this one over.As a side note, if you have Essie Butler Please let me tell you that Essie Mint Candy Apple is that formula... blah

A very cute (bright) mint green! Brush could be bigger.
I think this color is really fun for summer (even though it's from the Winter collection). To me, the green is very similar to Tiffany blue (but just a shade more green). With two coats, it does look a bit brighter than what I see on my screen. On my screen, this looks more like pastel green. One reviewer may have said that it's neon like, but I don't think so. This color is very fun and I think it looks very good if your skin is slightly tanned. With one coat, I couldn't get it to apply evenly. I did not give this 5 stars because I feel that the brush is too small (as compared to those from OPI), which makes it more difficult for me to apply the color evenly.

Amazing pastel color, perfect for spring
A lot of beauty gurus on youtube were raving on this so I bought one off Amazon. I'm a loyal Essie fan and have at least 30 nail polishes from Essie, but I do notice that the formula of essie tends to be different for some colors. This one in particular is extremely creamy and takes much less time to dry than many other colors and I am sooooo impressed. It looks like a minty green in bottle but when on your nails it will lean towards a Tiffany blue color.I've never had a chipping problem with Essie since I always use a base coat by Butter London, a top coat by Seche Vite and drying drops by OPI, This combination works great with almost any nail polish.

love, Love, LOVE!
I literally just received this product today and have already put it on my nails. I am completely in LOVE with this mint color!!! I purchased Essie's Turquoise & Caicos earlier this week, but it just wasn't minty (light) enough for what I was looking for. This is Perfect!! The application of this particular polish is just what I expect from Essie - excellent opacity in just 2 coats (3 is personal preference in my opinion). I apply in smooth, light strokes, so I don't get streaking or have the need for a third coat. I use this with a Seche base and Seche top coat and it's absolutely gorgeous. Mint Candy Apple is seriously the perfect Spring or summer mint color!

Adore!
I really love this product! It arrived promptly ahead of schedule, and it was exactly what I wanted. As many other reviewers have mentioned, this nail polish looks minty green in photographs, but in person, it's quite a blue color. That didn't bother me, and I think it might actually complement my skin tone better. Another review said that it "looked great on tan people". I'm awfully pale, and I think it looks just as wonderful. It's Essie, so the quality is high, and it's much cheaper here than it is in drugstores. The only possible negatives that come to mind are the fact that it's almost toothpaste-colored instead of a pale green, and it's a very poppy color- definitely not for people who don't enjoy standing out.

Mint happiness!
Mint Candy Apple is such a great color! You can't help but feel cheerful when you have it one your nails!I can see why people might complain about Essie polishes chipping / not drying as fast as drugstore brands, but you have to keep in mind that they don't put in some of the nasty chemicals (like formaldehyde) that some of the cheaper polishes do. It helps a lot if you use a base coat (I like Loreal--- it's cheaper, but also "nasty chemical"-free), and a top-coat if you want extra long life!Also--- I'm definitely buying my polishes from Amazon.com from now on; it's definitely cheaper than paying the $8 + tax you have to pay for essie in stores.
