Perfect for dogs, and their owners who are on the go, this pet bowl from Guyot Designs is collapsible for easy packing, yet made to retain its shape. The Pet Bowl is perfect for hot and cold foods, is made of flexible food grade silicone, and is temperature resistant to 400 Degree F. Practical and versatile, this bowl is great giving your best friend a big drink of water after a hike, or for meals on the go. The texture of the silicone makes for great gripping-action to surfaces, even the car seat. Perfect for home use as well. Easy to clean-hand wash using soap and water.

Good bowl, beware of price fluctuation
First off, watch the price or toggle with the sizes/colors for a better deal. I ordered this a week ago, in 24 oz green, for $13. Today I wanted to put 2 more in my cart to remember to buy additional ones for our porch and car and the 32 oz (larger) green were $5.99 each! So I feel ripped off a bit because I just got 2 bigger ones for the price of one smaller one just a week ago. As for the actual item review, this bowl will work as a yard bowl (and one for the porch, one for travel/car). We have a 60 lb. Boxer so 24 oz should be fine but I decided to buy 2 larger ones because while I believe it holds 24 oz. it just looks so small compared to his face/tongue. It says it's great for hot temps and cold temps so I can feel comfortable leaving it outside all the time (it's freezer safe silicone, etc for up to 400+ degrees F or -40 F below). So I'm happy with the product, just annoyed at the price situation.

Not made in the USA
Seems like a great bowl but not made in the USA as the description says it is. Packaging says made in China. Rating this bowl based on the manufacturing discrepancy.

'Pet bowl' works very well for human food
Food grade silicone, freezer/microwave safe and under $10... It's too good for a pet bowl. These are great for either a stand alone bowl for salad or as an insulated cooking bowl that can be lifted bare-handed from the oven/microwave to the table. If I'm fixing chili or other spillables, the squishy bowl can be lifted from the oven/microwave to a more stable bowl on the table. Like all silicone, these also keep food hot and are easy to clean. They are good to bake in, and I just made microwaved quiche with softened cream cheese beaten into the eggs to keep them fluffy. Get both the 32 oz and the 48 oz.

Very handy bowl, size is misleading
I bought this "squishy" pet bowl, which is of food grade silicone, for my own use when traveling. Another reviewer noted that these Guyot bowls run small and that he purchased the 24 ounce pet bowl as a better choice for his needs. I agree with him, but would buy the 32-ounce if I purchase another. Since I will be using this on a moving train, I will only half-fill it, so that there is no spilling or splashing of the contents. That's why I prefer a slightly larger bowl. The squishy design is perfect for me, as I now travel with only a backpack and a fanny pack.

Love it, have just ordered a 48oz one as ...
Love it, have just ordered a 48oz one as well. In our household this has never actually gotten near a pet though I'm sure it would function well as designed. What I use this for is to hold warm/wet wash cloths for in-bed washing up. Rather than running the hot water long enough to get it really hot I just put several washcloths and a good slug of water in the dish and microwave for a minute while I get everything else ready. If you actually plan to use for a pet the 32 ounce size would be, I think, for a medium sized dog. Outdoors/On the ground it probably wouldn't matter but indoors you'll probably not want to fill more than about 1/3 to avoid slopping. 10oz of water would only be two good "slurps" for a large dog.

Good quality, healthy bowl for pets
Good quality material, healthy bowl for pets. Sadly it is too deep for my 25 lb dog. She does not like putting her head in that dark hole. for food. I do not like it for water, it is too flexible, so carrying liquid in there, is not stable. Nice color, as pictured. It widens at the bottom inside and out.

Would be good for a travel water bowl but not super sturdy ...
I thought this would have been bigger and a thicker grade of silicone. Would be good for a travel water bowl but not super sturdy for regular feedings of an 80lb basset hound in my opinion which is what I needed it for. If I had needed for a smaller dog this would've been better.

Great for big dogs - better than canvas travel bowls
This travel bowl has been great for my two 100+ pound lab crosses. I was worried that it might not be large enough for the two of them to share, but they're both able to get their muzzles in there and drink at the same time. It's not overly large, but a great size for the two of them. This bowl is incredibly light, and can fold up into a small bundle for easier travel. I just secure it with some rubber bands, and I'm good to go. It folds so small that I can keep it in my center console's small storage space! The only real downside I've discovered is what someone else has previously mentioned: the bowl is easily collapsible, so if the side gets kicked or stepped on by a dog, it can cave in and water pours out. I've only had this happen once though, and it was with a young puppy that needed a drink.I've previously purchased the vinyl-lined canvas travel bowls, mainly because they were all I could find at the time. While they work well, they aren't as convenient or nice as this bowl. The vinyl in those isn't as easy to empty all of the water from, and I always had to worry that stagnant water left in there would produce mold that could get my dogs sick. The canvas would always get wet too, since my dogs are sloppy drinkers, and then I'd have to pack up a soggy mess. This isn't ever a problem with the Guyot silicone pet bowl, because you can just shake any excess water from the surfaces before you pack it away.I'd highly recommend this pet bowl (or the smaller sizes) as a travel bowl for your pets.
