It is not a ball designed for playing in the pool since it will get a lot heavier with the water. There are plenty of other balls designed to be used at a pool. Does the ball come inflated? I don’t have a ball pump at home.

Unfortunately it is not inflated when you get it. A cheap hand pump would work great as volleyballs aren’t that big.
