reading all these reviews from this ball really upsets me, it is a real high quality ball that your getting your money worth for! im surprised they charge it for such low prices for such a high quality ball. as a PROFFESIONAL volleyball player i can confirm that it is soft to the touch, durable, and sturdy! volleyballs are not manufactured for your pet, your son who wants to kick it and rough it up, or for harsh grounds because that is just gonna tear it! they are made for courts and beaches where the ball has a soft place to land. whatever bad reviews you read about this ball is solely that individuals fault due to mistreating it. I for one absolutely positively reccomend this ball! not so much for beginners because you need to get used to the roughness of a regular ball. but this one is certainly recommended with players of experience.

I got this as a gift for a 13 year old. She had a volleyball on her birthday list. I wasn't sure what kind so I stuck with highly rated and also game regulated size. She was super stoked when she opened it and she tried it out and said it would be perfect for her to practice at home. I didnt feel like their was extra softness in it, but I don't mess around with volleyball too much so I'm not sure. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures before I gave it to her. Mine came in a box with the ball inside in a plastic bag. The ball itself was not in a box like you would buy at the store, but it was aired up and kept its firmness for a week or so before I gave her the gift.

Love the Carolina Blue color of this Wilson Soft Play Volleyball. It is soft on the outer surface, not pillow soft but softer than a normal volleyball. Having played volleyball while growing up and in my adult years I know that if you don't hit a volleyball correctly-it will hurt whatever part of the you are using. This ball is perfect for beginners due to its softness. You have the best of both worlds with this volleyball. The softness of the volleyball doesn't take away from the durability or how well its made.

I bought this volleyball in October, 2016 for recreational play, and to my amazement, it exceeded my expectations for an under $10 ball. I'm not an avid volleyball player but I highly enjoy exercising and playing sports, and since there's a nearby beach volleyball court near my apartment, I decided to give the sport a try. So far this volleyball has lasted four months of constant play and still looks and plays as when I received it. The only forewarning to potential newbie buyers, is to be mindful that if you're not used to hitting a volleyball with your hands, this ball might be a somewhat too hard and can/will leave bruises on around the wrist area. But you'll end up loving the ball after getting used to it.

Perfect condition I don’t know much more I can say about a ball. It’s a ball and my kids love it. It’s raggedy looking bow now but iud held up quite well.

This balls looks good and it was great to play with it but the balls start peeling off so soon.

This product truly is great! I bought this as we love doing outdoor activites, especially playing volleyball. I personally feel that for the price, this really is worth it. At Models, I saw it retailing for $15. As you can see, this is a very good buy. The color I purchased is blue, and I love how it is very vibrant, therefore, I can distinguish whether if it is mine and where it is. If you are thinking about buying this product, I say go for it. It is very good quality and it is affordable. So far, there are no rips, tears, dents, or anything else that would signal a sign that the volleyball is wearing down. This was a wonderful buy.

Very durable ball. I have been using this ball to play with my 100lb doby/boxer pup who catches it with her teeth and it has withstood her grip!! We use it every day (we have had it a cpuple of months now) Great product. !
