Love it! Used it to read to my 2nd and 3rd graders as part of a curriculum.

We love this book. A teacher who was retiring gave me her copies of many of her favorite books for my daughter, and this book was among them. When my daughter chose it to read one day, we instantly fell in love with it. It rhymes, which is a feature we really love. It also has a lot of lesser known animals (bandicoot). My daughter isn't old enough to understand all of it yet, but the reference to some classic books (Dr. Seuss) is also a feature I really like. My daughter especially likes the part that goes, "The bears' love of books is completely outrageous. They licked all the pictures right off of the pages." It does work well for teaching caring for books. We bought this copy of the book for a friend's birthday party. My daughter is 3 now and really started enjoying listening to this book when she was about 2 and a half.

As a teacher and parent this is one of my favorite children’s books. It is adorable, has beautiful illustrations, and the language and word play is creative and fun. I have given this as a gift at several baby showers!

This book just delights me EVERY TIME I read it….and I’ve read it hundreds of times.

'Wild About You' is exactly what we needed to add toour collection of books. The illustrations are colorfuland the artwork fabricates a sense of texture within thepage that had my kids gliding their finger tips overeach page.I won't give away the whole story (even though its just a kids book)but in a simple way the book presents the reader with two different types ofparenting. Single and as a couple, along with the topic of adoptingoutside of their own species.As I said before this book is perfect for our 'modern' family, it's colorful,entertaining (you gotta ask the kids what sounds the animals make),and has deep meaning in its own little way.(For 2-6 year olds.)

I found this at my local library and I ended up buying myself a copy! This is such a fun book! I love the rhyming text, and the illustrations are colorful and fun. It’s all about a zoo full of animals discovering a love of reading, so the message is great too. I plan on using it in my classroom over and over!

My grandson is 2 and he loves this book. The pictures are lovely and the story about a library at the zoo is cute!

This book is so clever and fun to read, both for kids and adults. I've bought several over the years!
