- ordered on 17th and received on 19th- Installed the wall mount and mounted a 47" LED TV by myself. No need for a second person. Very easy to install- Solid construction except for one issue. See below.- The steel vertical bar (A) that hangs on to the mount and the curved steel vertical bar (B) that attaches to the TV are connected solely by plastic inserts in the grooves to enable tilting at the desired angle. When one installs the screw that holds tilt in a certain position, that is the only piece of metal that connects A and B transferring the TV load from B to the wall mount via A.- So, even if you are not using tilt, DO install the screw that holds the TV in a certain position. You don't want to rely on plastic sliders to hold A & B.- It seems secure but I would have preferred to see a strong metal pivot connecting A and B. Deducted 1 star for that. My TV weighs only 28 lbs and since the mount is claimed to support up to 165 lbs, it should be OK.- You may want to use the supplied spacers when attaching the vertical bars to the TV if you want more clearance from the wall. I didn't use the spacers and there wasn't enough room to put one's hand behind the TV for tightening the tilt screw to retain the desired position. Also, connect all cables / wires first before hoisting the TV onto the mount :-)- Built-in level was useful. Did double check with a longer level.- Excellent value for the money. Can be improved.

I looked at a lot of wall mounts on Amazon for my new 40" TV and this one appealed the most to me for some reason. It is made of very sturdy metal (rated at 165 lbs. I believe) and after installing it I trust it to hold my TV securely. One tip you may want to consider if you buy this one: The hardware comes with 8 spacers for the screws -- 4 smaller ones and 4 larger ones. I used the 4 smaller ones for my TV and -- even though that's not why they were included -- the 4 larger spacers for the screws that screw into your wall studs. This will let you screw them in tightly using a small wrench instead of having to deal with an electric drill. This wall mount doesn't have the smallest depth of all the mounts you can buy on Amazon, but since my TV has a built-in DVD player in back I wanted a little extra room behind it to insert and remove the discs. Also, since I elected to tilt the TV down there's only about an inch of space at the bottom anyway. BTW, the built-in bubble level worked fine for me (unlike some people who like to complain about anything).

The mount was great. It was priced incredibly low compared to other similar mounts (I think we got it for $23) and functions perfectly. It has plenty of holes so you can fit it to a stud on your wall and get the TV centered just where you want it (as the TV can slide on the mount left and right to center and then lock in place). We hung a 42'' LED TV and it covered the mount behind it.The only knocks I'd give it is that the level on the mount is crap. Do not use it. Use your own level if you want a level TV. And the instructions are pretty poor. It comes with a variety of screws and bolts but never quite tells you if, when and how to use them. It seems like the largest bolts are for mounting into a cement or brick wall. So if you plan on screwing into drywall or studs behind the drywall, I'd plan on using your own screws/drywall mounts. If you go and buy 4 screws for studs that's like $1, so I don't think that's worth voting this down. The actual mount itself is just wonderful for the price.

I would have given it 5 stars but lately I have noticed the tilt handles you put together on this mount is not as good as before. I have had alot of issues tilting the mount freely and had to dismount to get it in the right angle. Not very happy about it. Otherwise good low priced mount for a one piece bracket.

I purchased this to hang my 55 inch Samsung TV (UN55H6350). Nothing flashy, but it works. I dinged it a star due to missing a couple washers that the inventory sheet said would be there. I ended up using some washers form a prior wall mount as spacers in order to fit the arms on my TV. I haven't used the tilt feature, and with a 55 inch TV it would be difficult to reach the knobs anyway. My last mount was super low profile which only worked because my TV had flush mount plug and adapters. I like the spacing with this mount. I was able to slip my hand behind the TV while mounted and plug in a set component video cables (they stick straight out the back). Shipping was surprisingly fast as well.

This is by far the best bang for your buck when it comes to TV mounts. We used this mount on an 82" Samsung TV and it works great. I did a ton of research and when I came across this product it had everything I needed at less then half the cost of it's competitors. The installation was nice and easy, the level they place in the bracket is a huge help and the bracket is not very heavy. I would still use two people to install the bracket and TV but this is a great product. Also quick installation tip, always make sure you install TV mounts into studs this guarantees the TV and bracket will not fall off the wall.

I really like that this mount is one solid piece, and the hooks make it easy to hang the TV. However, the adjusters inside the tilt arms that position the TV are plastic.We have two TVs: an older 42 inch Visio, and a newer and much heavier 65 inch Visio (not an ultra thin). We already had a mount for the smaller TV. This mount was much smaller than the mount we already had. The larger mount that we already had also had metal adjusters, no plastic. So we had to swap the two mounts and use this one for the smaller TV.We made it work and are happy with the mount for the smaller TV. It seems to hold the weight of the 42 inch well, and stays put when it is tilted up or down without tightening anything down. The tilt is very slight. I don't think I would want to trust my 65 inch on this thing, it is not an ultra thin or light TV. But the mount is a rather nice mount for the 42 inch, lighter TV. I am happy with it.
