Amazing! Game changer for MC riding
My wife and I have used these for over 2 months now. I can't speak for how they'll work for a group larger than 2, but it should be the same. We're both amazed at how great these are. We can communicate clearly with each other, even at a fairly far distance without any static or connectivity issues. They increase safety since we can communicate possible threats and we don't have to wonder what the other is doing. I use them with earplugs and I can very clearly hear her or my phone. My older Shoei helmet doesn't have speaker pockets, and no place to stick the velcro. I was able to directly stick the speaker (which already has velcro attached) directly to the fabric inside the helmet. This works fine and it's secure. Speaker placement is critical. I made a very small placement adjustment and it made a huge difference. Even without the speaker pockets, I can't feel the speakers against my ears. These have been the best wireless device I've ever used. They literally work flawlessly, and the batteries do last the specified 10 hours or so. Helmet installation took about 20 minutes per helmet, and they seem to fit almost anything. I highly recommend these. They have made riding together a completely different experience. They're expensive but worth every penny.

Works fine but audio sound isnโt as good as a wired system.
Have this installed in my HJC IS-MAX II. Fits like it was made for it and doesnโt look as goofy as others I have seen hanging off the side of a helmet. Those are the biggest reasons I purchased this over the bold version which I think is the same basic system. I believe this system is waterproof which is the reason I went with it over a Sena product. I have used this for a while now, well enough to develop an opinion anyway. I have the unit linked to my phone, gps and motorcycle currently. The bike is a 2020 BMW R1250RT. This allows me to hear gps prompts along with answering or placing phone calls through the navigator along with listening to the bikes audio through its Bluetooth connection. There is a certain way to pair it to make this all work and there are a few YouTube videos on it. So far calls seem clear but I have to turn the volume all the way up on my phone to hear the caller. As long as I do that (and raise my windscreen during a call) call quality is fine. So Iโm good with that part. GPS prompts come through fine also. The sound quality on music is very disappointing though. I tried putting the spacers under the speakers and they caused me to have sore ears so I took them out. The sound is ok but nothing to get excited about. You must turn the bass and treble way down on your sound system to make it sound a bit better. From everything I have read all the other Bluetooth systems are much lower quality sound than this system. I can only imagine how bad they are. My previous goldwing had a wired system that sounded 500% better than this. I guess I will be listening to the fairing speakers mostly unless I am riding in a residential area in quiet hours. Battery life seems good. All day seems to be no issue.

Awesome headset.
I have an HJC RPHA Pro 11 which this was specifically designed for so the fit is obviously flawless but Cardo has done a pretty good job making the kit pretty much universal. One thing I was really impressed with was the production value put just into the packaging. (You order one you'll know what I mean). Pros: Sleek design. Good battery life. Easy to use. Easy to install. Cons: more like down sides but not deal breakers. The non boom mic didn't work at speed on my bike. And I mean doing 10mph in the alley way people couldn't hear me. Changed it over to boom mic and no problems. You have to talk pretty loud to be heard but it works well. The other is sound quality. The 40mm JBL are sadly treble-ish. When ear buds are producing club quality bass you'd think 40mm wafers would be better. Sound quality is further diminished when ran through the cardo app. Much better to just BT connect to ur phone and use it like a wireless headset. I just use Alexa assistant and run it as a wireless and it's pretty great. Definitely worth the couple hundred bucks for some tunes in the brain bucket and voice guidance from the gps. Definitely recommend this. Especially if u have an HJC helmet.

Excellent for solo riding. Probably great with other Cardo Users.
I don't actually know about that last bit, since literally everyone I meet up with here in FL uses Sena. It should be possible to bridge me in with the Sena network, but so far none of the other riders have been inclined to dork around with their units to try. So, I haven't actually gotten to use it to communicate with another rider. It's been great for taking/making phone calls, and listening to music/navigation. The sound is well balanced with bass mode on, and a few EQ tweaks on my phone. Once I start my bike, the bottom end gets masked a little by my M4 pipe. The volume is interesting, and of course depends on what you're listening to and how it was mastered. Bottom-heavy music will sound quieter, because the low end (which gets masked on the bike) eats up so much head room. Rock music, however is loud and clear. With the speed sensitivity on, the volume can get too loud on the interstate if I'm not wearing my earplugs. After commuting a couple of days I voice prompted a battery status, and Cardo reported "battery full". So far, I've been impressed with the battery life. The voice commands work well - I don't have to yell inside my full-face. When talking in a normal voice to my wife on the phone, she heard me just fine, and couldn't tell I was riding. Having said that, you don't hear yourself in the headset while making a phone call, so at first it's hard to judge how loudly you need to speak (no need to yell). I haven't experienced a single issue with it so far, and it is such a clean, discreet install. I'm happy with my choice, even if I'm the only dork in 3 states not using Sena, lol.

Great value
For a discontinued item this works great. I haven't had a chance to try the actual intercom functionality yet, but for playing music over bluetooth it works great. Despite the great idea for a slim form factor, I quickly realized why they stopped making it. It really only fits certain helmets, and modern helmets have goofy flares at the bottom so this can't slide up under them. The controls piece would not fit any of my helmets. However, the battery pack does fit in the back, and I was able to use some 3M tape to stick the control piece to the outside of the helmet. It's not as slim as it's intended to be but still doesn't stick out as far as the normal models, and stays in place thanks to the strong tape. And basically getting 2 units for the price of 1 just because it's a discontinued model is a great bargain. I did find that "Hey Cardo, Music off" tends to not work a lot, probably because it's too close to "Music on" so it just doesn't do anything. After much trial and error though, I did find a way to enunciate clearly enough that it gets it almost every time. So if the "Hey Cardo" commands don't work for you, slow down and speak very clearly and it should work better.

Worth $50, a penny more is a rip off
Update after 2 months of use: I want my money back for this piece of garbage. The voice command on it is absolutely worthless and only works probably less than 5% of the time, whether you're using the card or voice commands or trying to say hey Google or OK Google or anything to do with your Android phone. It forced me to use Bixby even though my Cena does not and Bixby does not work with or without a Bluetooth headset. The fact that I have to stop and take my phone out of the protector and manage it, I can't answer or ignore calls with voice command, and it makes me use Bixby makes this car though a total POS and not worth wasting your time on. If I could give it a zero for voice recognition I would. If I could give it a zero for noise cancellation I would. The sound quality is definitely better than my sema, but the voice recognition is completely worthless both for the cardo and for trying to use my Android phone voice commands. It doesn't work consistently and sometimes it opens up Bixby and sometimes it opens up the Google voice Assistant with no consistency. Then it doesn't recognize the command you give it if it does recognize your voice. I wasn't aware these even had noise canceling on them but after riding with them for a couple hundred miles, they are no better than the worst SEMA product. A very disappointing experience and if you're looking for something with voice control, this is the last product you want to buy. By the way, I updated the firmware when I got the device and it still has all the issues that the latest firmware release was supposed to address.

Great product with a huge catch
These headsets work great. Have had zero issues with operation. Sound clarity is good as is feature set. Sound can be a bit soft in the ear, especially if you are on a louder bike. However, the biggest issue is the helmet mount. The setup has two parts, the battery section and main. The batter section mounts just fine via a metal clip, no complaints. But the main unit has a plastic clip that wedges in the shell of the helmet. It holds well. But if you don't have a thin shell on the helmet, the clip is wedged outward and is subject to breaking. If it breaks, you are screwed as this clip is part of the main unit. And since the main and battery components are tethered together with no removable wiring, you have to replace the whole unit. I was offered a discount to purchase a new unit, from their store which is significantly more expensive than Amazon. So essentially, I was instructed to pound sand. I ended up using velcro to secure. I'm not throwing away a perfectly functional unit due to throw away design.

Decepcionante.
Decepcionado con el producto. No cumple con ninguna de sus caracteristicas tecnicas anunciadas, ni tiene 13 horas de autonomia, ni tampoco asegura la comunicacion por DMC a 1 kilometro de distancia. No volvere a comprar otro.

My first comm unit and I lvoe it.
I just invested in my first full face helmet and bought this comm unit to go with it, thanks to a friends advice. I am using it with an Iphone 12 and it works great. I can hear my music very well and clear. I can use siri and Cardo's own voice commands very easily up too 120 kph where then my helmet gets a bit of wind noise. Then it still works half of the time. Those people hear complaining about it being too quiet should check their phones settings first. My iPhone was initially limited so it was too quiet until I fixed that in the settings. Anyway, very happy with this purchase,
