a bad boy hunk sails into town...
This is part of a series and previous characters and places are mentioned but the book is standalone and has a HEA. As part of the magic jukebox series, Monica, the daughter of the Inn keepers, meets her magic person to the tune of Wild Thing. Monica is the good girl. She has always done as she was told, went to school, did well, and is being groomed to one day take over the Inn.Then HE comes to town. He has sailed a sailboat from Miami for a wealthy boat owner. He is somewhat of a free spirit. He is a very talented carpenter and he sort of goes where the wind blows him until he is ready to move on again. He had a rather rough childhood and it has effected the way he sees life. Nothing holds him down. However, there is a small problem. The police were notified that drugs were smuggled into the cove on the sailboat so he is arrested. They couldn't find the drugs so he was released but was told not to leave town. Sitting in the pub the jukebox comes on and plays Wild Thing and their fates are sealed. This is a good story. Monica had a hard time getting her heart to over-ride her head. Him not so much. There is a bit of mystery and Monica does become a Wild Thing as she turns into the heroine of the day. It is a good story, interesting and fun. I really enjoyed it as well as all the other books in this series. I would definitely recommend it.One word - a Honda Rebel is a nice ride but for a Bad Boy Wild Thing, he really should have been on a big Harley!! :-) Just my opinion!!I was not paid for this review. I am not an author nor do I know one. I am not kin to this writer. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less.

'Wild Thing' is right!!!
I love this series! I’ve enjoyed all three books so far, but I think 'Wild Thing' may just be my favorite......at least out of the three that I've read so far. After reading the first two books, I would've never pictured Monica---the cool, calm, collected, goody-two shoes woman----to do the things she had done in this story. I have to say that I liked this drastic change. And Ty??? I fell in love with him right from the start. He's lived a life of H**l up to this point, but being framed for something he absolutely had nothing to do with?!! IMO- That had to be the worst feeling in the world for him---other than the day he lost his parents, that is. I am so glad he found someone like Monica. She had his back every step of the way, even when she still had her own doubts. He needed, and deserved someone like her to walk into his life, for sure.I really liked Nolan in the first two books, but I have to say...I wasn't too crazy about the way he acted in this one. He'll have to really step up his game to win me back on his side after this.

Wild Thing is right!
I love all the books in this series, have read 5 to date. This one is sexier than most, but the level of heat fits the premise, of the magic jukebox choosing the song. Loved the hero Ty, wandering jack of all trades, and rootless, who falls for the ultimate rooted heroine. Very clever and witty, with some intrigue and danger. Now on to the next one for this reader.

Fun premise
A magic jukebox that plays whatever it wants to. You put in a quarter and get three songs but you never know what they will be or who they will affect. The legend says if the right two people are there they fall in love. When a good hometown girl who has never taken a risk meets a wanderer who hasn't had a home in years the jukebox strikes again. Cops, drugs and bad plumbing cause problems and make this a great story.

*********Review may contain spoilers*********
Call me old-fashioned (or just old), but I don't find it romantic when a couple introduces themselves AFTER they have had sex. In these days of STDs and serial killers and things of that nature, I really believe that a woman should be just a little more cautious than that. I don't care what song the "magic jukebox" was playing, that is just slutty and stupid. The rest of the story was on the unbelievable side, too. The constant harping about him being a "biker" got old fast. He rode a Honda, people! Students, senior citizens, and gazillions of people ride bikes. This dude was not a tattooed 1%er! And the police investigation was nothing less than silly. I'm sorry, but as a Judith Arnold fan, this one just doesn't cut it. This is the second book that I've read in this series and I won't be reading any more.Sexual situations may offend some readers

Great series
I like this series - great premise with the song playing on the radio making you notice the one you are meant to be with. Light, fun, easy read. Really enjoy this author

Old Songs, Old Hurts, New Feelings
Now this book is a good way to break up or end your day. The feelings were written as if this was a biography rather than fictional read. Good character formation that leads you into the next story and the next story.... Yes, pick it up and give it a read

An interesting concept, that song a jukebox can actually predict a romance.
I had read other books by this author about the Jukebox and this one did not disappoint me either. A very pleasant escape. I look forward to reading others in this series.

Jukebox wild thing
Monica was a respected responsible member of her home town she helped run her parents Inn. It all changed when firstly she broke up with her long standing boyfriend. She ended phoning her friend to meet at the local tavern. She was upset and heartbroken that she'd spent so long holding her relationship together. While at the tavern a man came in sitting at the bar. He was looking around at the people in the tavern, when his eyes hit Monica's at the precise time music from the jukebox started . The song was a wild thing legend has it if the jukebox plays a song it will pick two people and they end in a love relationship. Monica never believed in such things but things started to happen Ty and Monica ended up that night at her flat in the inn making wild love. That was the start to a complicated relationship between them. Ty was arrested on heroin carrying . The police believe d that the boat he sailed from Florida to the cove contained the drugs. Monica stuck by Ty and even helped police catch the real drug dealer. Love prevails bringing them both a loving relationship. Good read will definitely read more.

A great read.
I love the idea of these stories, and have read several of them. They are all well written and an enjoyable read. This one is about a ‘wild’ boy, Tyler, who isn’t really and the stay at home ‘good’ girl, Monica. Ty has popped into town to drop off a boat, but things soon become difficult for him. Monica is unsure if she believes in his guilt or not.

Not so wild
Just a bit twee for me and didn’t measure up to the first book of the series, too short on character and a flimsy plot. More tame than wild.

Monica is a good, hometown girl
This is the third book in the Majic Jukebox series and well worth reading.Monica is a good, hometown girl. Her parents own and run the town's resort hotel. She has been brought up to know that it will one day be hers . To this end she has a degree in hotel management and is now working her way through all the jobs in the hotel to broaden her base of knowledge. She has her roots in Brogan's Point and doesn't want to go anywhere else. She even had a hometown boyfriend for the last ten years on again off again, but recently off for good as far as she's concerned.Tyler is a drifter. Apart from having to live with his grandparents for a few years, he has never settled anywhere for long after his parents were killed in a car accident when he was a boy. The only reason that he is in town is because he took a job ferrying a boat from Florida to New England because the owner was held up by business.Having docked and set all to rights with the yacht he notified the marina offices of his arrival and set off for town where he ended up in the Faulk Street Tavern. As he looked around his attention was caught by two young women sitting together, in particular the one with the black hair. As he was watching her she looked up straight into his eyes as the jukebox started to play Wild Thing. Everything stopped for both of them.Of course, Monica knew all the stories told about the jukebox but hadn't believed them, until now. What they both know is that they can't keep apart! Ty is a rebel and a Wild Thing and Monica suddenly finds that she wants to be wild with Ty. But, of course, it's not that easy. This is a very easy to read contemporary romance that should appeal to a wide readership. The romance is nice, not erotic, and the story has enough twists to keep you interested.
