Works great, clean cuts
Works great for sign making in plywood. Keep it shallow and it does a nice job.

Amazing Cuts and Strong
These bits are amazing!!! They cut excellent, with smooth edges. The short 1/4" cutting length is what makes thes strong with the 1/4" shank. I had others that snapped in the past as soon as they began cutting on my CNC. This is a beast. I ordered a few more JUST IN CASE, but after several uses and production of use, this ONE just keeps going and going. Very great price for the quality and security it gives on not snapping and the finish is excellent.

Don't drop it
I have found my go to bit for dep carves on my cnc machine. The bits have worked well every time I have used them. The issue with longevity is really my fault and not the bit. I have plunged my router too deep and had the lower portion snap off and I have also dropped it from about 5 feet and had it snap off too. for what it costs it is a great bit.

Fragile, but very useful.
If you do a lot of intricate CNC engraving you will find this to be an often needed and invaluable tool. They are difficult to find, very fragile, and quite expensive considering the lack of durability. I try to use a 1/4" or 1/8" tool for clearing and only use this tool for cleaning up the detail edges. Even then, make sure you are taking VERY shallow cuts, and slow your feed rate down to like 30" per minute. Even having taken all those precautions if your cut takes you through a knot, or you are using particularly hard material like hickory, you will snap these off occasionally. If you are doing custom client jobs, make sure you keep more that one of these on hand and tread very gingerly with them. If you are just doing fine engraving and don't need the straight bit, the 1/16th tapered ball nose is far more durable, and might be a better choice for some jobs. Even for inlays I usually use the tapered bit. You just have to experiment a bit because you'll have to make your pockets a little undersize to compensate for the taper. Once you get it down, it a much better way to go for inlays. The taper actually gives you tighter inlays and less gaps. When you do need the straight edges AND tight corners (epoxy fills, for example) this tool is invaluable. I have bought several of these in spite of the breakage, and will continue to buy them.

Pretty good so far, giving nice finish on walnut
Cuts well and get a really good top surface finish on walnut wood (hobby cnc). Feels like it's already sanded up to 100/120grit. I'm running it fairly slow at 13K rpm, 1000mm/min, 1.5mm stepover, 1mm depth of cut

Works great for HDPE ColorCore detailed lettering
After a 8 different engraving bits of various styles this one is finally what solved my project issue of getting high detail engraved control panel lettering to work well on HDPE ColorCore plastic. A very specific need, but this uniquely solved my problem and the key was 1/32" downcut spiral flutes. Everything else led to fuzzy poor quality lettering with lots of chips to handpick out. No so with this bit! Perfect and clean cuts with successive 0.3mm depth cuts at 0.0025" chip load.

Did the job.
Bit was perfect for the cost. It did everything I needed it too. Cut was nice.

Great quality!
SpeTool bits are my go to for cnc router bits! I always keep an extra on hand because at 1/16th they break fairly easy. It's usually my fault for running the machine too fast or hitting a knot. They work great for pine, just stay away from any knots!

Great value and quality.
SpeTool bits are my go to bits for CNC. Having purchased several (dozens) different sizes and types, I am never disappointed in the sharpness, durability and overall quality. They are great value.

Another great bit by spetool
It cuts cleanly and appears to be holding up quite well. It does whine alot under pressure, but i have to think it's the small bit trying to chew thru tough wood.

Cuts clean, works well.
Used in a Bosch 12v handheld router on solid walnut. Cuts nice and clean, obviously if not cutting though the material waste will accumulate with it being a down cut.
