Fabulous and Amazing!
First off - I did my homework on DHEA. I am now almost 60, and have used BIO Identical Hormone cremes in my 40's compounded by a pharmacy and prescribed by my Naturopath MD. It was exhorbitantly expensive back then. I stopped using cremes in my 50's and now have been experiencing the dreaded hot flashes, along with the typical menopause symptoms of vaginal dryness, fatigue, muscle tone loss - you name it. I have tried ALL sorts of supplements and cremes, they would work for a while, then quit working. I love cocoa butter - which these are made from, I refuse to use chemical hormones of any kind, so I decided to try these inserts, as reviews claimed vaginal pain and discomfort would ease, AND repair the vaginal wall, along with increased energy and skin tone. THEY WORK for me. Intercourse pain is less, the dryness is less, my energy is up, body aches, pains gone. I am very sensitive - and had read on another reviewer's post how she doses. I find if I take too much or too little - I get neuralgia or hot flashes. So it is a fine balance of dosing and watching my symptoms daily. I take 1/2 suppository, every other day. I keep them in the freezer. I also add Pregesterone cream pumped from another Amazon brand on the off day. I have used a different brand of DHEA creme on the day in between of the suppository - and I can vouch the creme is NOT as good as the suppository. The cocoa butter does not burn, and I love the smell, and it is not that messy during the day ( I insert it in the AM) I have recommended these to my Mother and other friends as well. They definately work for a multitude of Menopausal symptoms, I highly recommend them. My push for me to try them, was painful intercourse, and HORRID neverending hot flashes so intense I couldn't sleep, ALL of which are now fixed.

Works well; and the burning is temporary
I'm using this product in addition to .05mg estrogen patch +100mg oral micronized progesterone AND prescription vaginal estrogen cream. The systemic HRT was not addressing vulval atrophy that was causing a general burning sensation and urge incontinence (good people of Amazon, I did NOT reach this young-old age to start peeing my pants, wtf). The vaginal estrogen cream was added to address these symptoms...and it helps, for sure, but I feel like it's got a fairly weak effect (it's super low concentration of course) and it wasn't appreciably bringing back my clitoris which, I'm not kidding, seemed to have shrunk. (I mean atrophy is atrophy, sadly.) So I decided that in between my 2x a week vaginal estrogen cream applications, I would try vaginal DHEA suppository 2x a week as well. #1, I do think this is working better for the aforementioned symptoms (preventing the urge incontinence, vaginal dryness, vulvar burning) than the estrogen cream alone; and #2, it's ... increasing my libido! Also I think my clitoris is back, I mean the tissue feels more normal/like it used to before my hormones apparently fell off a cliff. Local DHEA like this has been shown, in clinical studies, to actually improve libido, unlike estrogen cream btw. But I wasn't even hoping for it, I just wanted to fix the slide into incontinence or chronic urinary tract infections like a lot of people get with untreated GSM. Turns out to be a great side benefit! Therefore, I recommend trying this product for Genitourinary Symptoms of Menopause (GSM). But I mainly came to write all this to let the "ow it burns" people know the following: 1. While reading up on all things menopause, HRT and GSM-related, I had noted that people using the prescription version of DHEA vaginal suppository (Intrarosa) also reported burning from the suppository, as some of the reviewers here are complaining about as well. And the clinical study said that the burning sensation lessened with repeat use of Intrarosa; the hypothesis was that it burns early on, when your vaginal/vulvar tissues are thin and dry and, you know, atrophied; but once the DHEA gets working, and your tissues are coming back to normal, no more burning. 2. This has been true for me. I never had any burning with the vaginal estrogen cream, btw, even during the first two weeks' "use every day" period (part of the instructions for that prescription). With these DHEA vaginal inserts, I definitely noticed some burning. It wasn't THAT bad (someone on here said they wanted to rush to the hospital????), but noticeable for sure. After I'd say 4 or 5x use (over a period of a couple of weeks), this burning no longer occurs when I put in an ovule. Maybe the person saying it burned so much they nearly went to hospital actually has very bad GSM and REALLY needs to use DHEA or something else...try the vaginal estrogen for a while, see if you can improve matters until DHEA doesn't hurt that much. But for sure you need something, good luck! Anyway hope that helps.

Clean ingredients.
I chose these as opposed to creams that have indescribable ingredients. I love the smell & my husband doesn't mind it either. I started with the Bezwecken hydration ovals first for about a month, so when I started using these, I never felt the burning some reviewers mention. I use these every 3 days & alternate with prescription estradiol. Estradiol does a good job of restoring tissues, but not libido. These have helped with that. The only negatives of these is that they are expensive & they do melt if you order them when the weather is warm. The shipper could do a better job of packing them. One little cold pack does not help.
