Great gi just a little disappointed
This gi overall is constructed to be extremely durable. Everything about it. It is not a cheap or crappy made gi by any means. But I have my gripes and I'll start with that.Cons:I bought an A2, which is my regular size, but strangely I feel the jacket was made for someone about 50 pounds heavier and a good four or five inches taller (given their arms are significantly longer as well). When I first got it the jacket was huge! I have since hot washed and hot dried it five times. It hasn't shrunk any since the third wash. The sleeves come right behind the wrist with my arms outstretched, so not horrible. But the long sleeves can be a nuisance while rolling. The chest area of the gi feels it's built more for someone with huge pecs or a large belly. Not too bothersome but I prefer a closer fit. The skirt also is long. It isn't trailing down the front of my thighs thank goodness, but for my taste I like the skirt to lay a little below the waist so it doesn't become a possible hinderance. There is not extra fabric in the knees of the pants. It is made of ripstop and feels really sturdy. Just a personal preference.Pros:The pants, I love these pants! First off they are cut so before you wash them they are right at the ankle. Washed them once and they are a little above. Some guys don't like the old school style; but when your pants slide down a little (and they will) and you try for a takedown and your pants trip you up because your heel is stuck in them, it' same real pain. Not in these pants. Along with that, they have a tighter crotch so it stays closer to your body allowing for full range of motion without that baggy cloth hindering you on most pants. They feel very comfortable because of this. Another small note, the open seam on the side (you know the section where the drawstring comes out and if your not careful the whole world will see what brand of undies you wear) is extra small which not only covers you up, but keeps the drawstring from riding up in you as much. There is also a hidden mouth guard pocket, and it is hidden further back in the gi than normal do it isn't in an obnoxious location.Thoughts:As for the Zero hold technology, what they did was sew a extra long piece of ripstop on the inside of the sleeve. This makes the cuff stiff and somewhat slick, and harder to grab. Not the amazing invention they advertise it to be, but it works and seems practical enough.Again, overall I love the gi, despite my disappointments I may even get anotherI'm 5'9" and 160 lbs. normal build, not skinny not stocky right in the middle.Hope this helps, roll hard or go home

WAY TOO BIG
This is a sharp looking Gi problem is I wear a A2 and it fits like a judo gi or a A3 buy 1 size smaller. I tried washing it in hot water and heat dry 2 times it shrank a little but it is still big. The quality is good but the sizing sucks.. Also I have the older Storm Gi and the patches were ready to fall off after about 4 months. I have 3 gis and I train 3 x a week so Im not wearing it everyday. The older gi material was softer and the A2 fits perfect its my favorite gi besides the patches falling off. Purchase the older gi if you can find it. tis particular one is more of a summer gi. For some reason they sell this gi for $49 on their website

Quality Gi, Great Price
This gi retails for $199 at the Storm Kimonos website; I was able to purchase this gi for under 130 (before tax) on amazon which is a steal! The lowest price I've seen this gi elsewhere was $145. It features the new Storm logo and is a part of Storm's new line of kimonos (the font has been updated and the thunderbolt is now replacing the R).PROS: The weave is durable without being too heavy nor too light. I'm not a fan of ultra light weaves so I am pretty content with this weave. Also, ripstop reinforcement adds to the weight and durability (upper back and shoulders, forearms). The patches and embroidery are all well-done. The ripstop pants fit well and are lightweight (lighter than the ATAMA ripstop). Collar is relatively thick and light. There is also a mouthguard pocket inside the gi.CONS: Being 5'7" and 140 lbs, I purchased the A1. I was surprised at how "large" the jacket was when opening the package. It fits me fine at the waist (I wear a size 30-32) but the skirt is very long (if i drop my hands to my sides, thats how far the skirt goes. personally i prefer the skirt to end around the crotch region). The jacket is also a bit baggy; this gi is definitely more suitable for someone with a larger/muscular upper body. I am hoping it will shrink as time goes on but after the initial wash, there was minimal shrinkage (storm wasn't kidding about it being pre-shrunk).CONCLUSION: The construction is high quality. The designers kept in mind functionality and style (although more simple than other kimonos out in the market, I'd still consider this a "flashy" gi). If you're tall and/or don't mind a longer jacket skirt, this might be the gi for you. If you're a shorter or a more lean individual, Storm may not be the best fitting gi for you.

Great Gi
This is a great Gi! It's well made and feels strong, so it will last a long time! I'm close to 6 feet and about 235 lbs. the A4 seems kind of big on me but as long as it holds, I don't care. I don't know if there was a blip on price, but I got mine for $49, at the time and so I bought two! Now all I need is to put on my school patches!

Jacket size awefully too big
The quality of the pants is not as shown in the picture. The jacket was awefully large and definitely not an A2 as labeled, maybe an A3 or A4. A total waste of time and money because the kimono was sent overseas and couldn't returned to get my money back. I wrote to Storm customer support and still haven't got any answer. I definitely don't recommend this product. Here's a picture of the jacket compared to a Kingz A2, pants size are the same but the jacket is ridiculously big.

Best Gi I've ever owned!!!
This is my 4th Storm GI. I own the Typhoon, T2, Comp 96 and now this Supreme. I am a bigger guy. 6'1 265 lbs. These fit me perfectly and I picked this one up in an A4 for less than $70. These new Storms use a slightly different cut in the sleeves and cuffs and the weave is definitely different than the older models. The pants are light rip stop and the kimono is beautifully detailed. I would recommend this GI for a larger practitione or someone with a larger shoulder build. Overall this GI is incredublt made in every detail and for the price I got it at it is practically a steal.
