The Armada El Rey is a great first park ski, urban assault machine, or just an all mountain cruiser for the teenager who may want to ride in the park once in a while. This season Armada has softened up the flex by 20% that makes it a touch more forgiving, but still responsive, making it better for rails and boxes, and a ton of fun on the groomers. The El Rey's positive camber has plenty of spring and pop to it, especially in the tail due to the carbon tail stringer. Armada builds the edges thicker than any other skis adding to the durability. At 87mm underfoot the El Rey has a quick and nimble feeling for medium to short turns, and will be easy to stomp tricks as you learn and progress your park skills.
