Yes, there are heavier duty connections out there but for a simply and quick connect/disconnect, and for the price, these are quite effective.

Great idea except had to replace one ring terminal because it was too small for battery terminal. Also had to replace butt splice with waterproof heat shrink type. Should have bought to ones with just bare wires.

I use this to quickly attach and remove trolling motor battery. Works perfectly and my charger plugs right into these to make charging batter a breeze.

I ignored the other reviews and bought this but I really shouldn't have. The problem is that the picture doesn't show the ends of the wires, just the connector. The ends of the connectors are different, one side features a 1/4" ring terminal and a 3/8" ring terminal. The smaller terminal fit my power post, however the issue was the other end of the wire. On the opposite end of the connector is just two butt connectors. These expect a bare wire. The problem is that I have never seen a Trolling motor that ends in bare wire, they always end with a ring or fork terminal. So buy buying this you are required to either strip the trolling motor of its terminal or replace the butt connectors with new terminals. Either way you're going to be basically rebuilding the unit for it to function at all. To add insult to injury the entire quick connect is made with low quality parts. The terminals are all very cheap, the connectors are incredibly flimsy. In short, if you know how, you're better off making this yourself. And if you don't know how to make this yourself then you'll never get this to work.

Simple easy to use after I connected it to my battery. Had to drill out one of the holes to fit the peg on the battery. Easyer to use than the orginal clips on the motor. I can leave the battery cover inplace an still connect and disconnect.

Minn Kota really blew it on this. The ring terminal on the positive side is too small to fit on a standard threaded battery post. What were they thinking? The negative ring terminal was fine and the proper size. BOTH SHOULD BE THE SAME! I had to drill out the positive ring which was a pain in the butt. I don;t know what Minn Kota was thinking when they designed these. Other than that it works OK. The plug is a little difficult to get lined up because of the soft rubber around it.

Die Kabel sind ok und auch der Stecker, aber die Schellen sind unterschiedlich. Eine passt auf die Schraube vom Akku, die andere ist zu klein. Das darf bei zwei einfachen Kabeln zu diesem Preis nicht passieren.
