Got this for my sister for Christmas, I highly recommend. She’s a preteen and I noticed she was having a strong interest in God, so I got her this. I’ve seen her read it and asked her about it and she can understand the book very well, and the book gives summaries and explains what you read. 100% would buy again!

I’m not a Christian, but I wanted to read the Bible out of genuine curiosity about its insights. I do believe it has many true insights about life, but I wanted to read the whole thing and see what I did and didn’t resonate with. So far, I have only read the first four parts of Genesis, and already I found a very strange phenomenon: Adam and Eve gave birth to Abel and Cain, and these were the first four people on earth. But then after Cain murders Abel, it said that Cain gave birth to Enoch. And then Enoch had children (one Lamech), and then Lamech married two women named Adah and the other Zillah. What I want to know: is if Eve did not give birth to any daughters, where exactly did Cain’s wife come from? And then it also said that Cain was building a city… But there was only like 5 people on earth at the time. I’m not sure how literal this book is supposed to be, but obviously that seems… not feasible. However, of course, I will keep reading it for the metaphorical insights. I just know now that it’s not meant to be taken literally. Other than that, it’s not badly written for how old it is, and I look forward to reading my 15 minutes a day, following the calendar in the back, to finish the whole thing in one year. Yes, the book has a cute calendar if you want to finish reading the whole Bible in one year. I thought that was a great idea, until I realized this Bible has no bookmark. That’s insane to me. Such a crazy oversight because that would’ve made this Bible 10 out of 10 perfect. Bible pages are very thin, so it would’ve been nice to have a ribbon bookmark part of the book, since ordinary bookmarks would be too abrasive. I was really disappointed about the missing bookmark, but otherwise, it’s really good, cute, feminine, and there’s an index in the back showing the sections of the Bible a girl can refer to when feeling certain feelings.

My 12 year old daughter loves it. Its beautiful! I have nothing negative to say about the Bible itself other than the package was not the best. It was lose in the box with protection cover so it got damaged on the corners but other then it's perfect

This is a very beautiful NIV Bible for young teenage girls. The Bible has extra features that aid in understanding the Scriptures better. Extra features include information about each book, interesting facts, key verses and some spaces for a brief Bible study, etc. I actually bought this for gifting, but I've enjoyed looking through it myself. It has been made to look very appealing. Paper is kind of thinner than usual Bible paper, but not a big issue there. Worthy buy!

I thought it was going to come wrapped in plastic or cardboatd but it was just the book in bubble wrap. The corners were a little bent but other than that it was in good condition. We are VERY happy with this purchase.

I’m not a “girl” anymore, I’m 20, lol. But I’m autistic and so I wanted a Bible to read alongside my regular one that could help me make connections to my own emotions and life. This Bible is exactly that. It gives opportunities to think deeply, connect your own experiences to the Bible, and even gives a short recap at the beginning of each new book. Honestly i think if you have trouble connecting emotionally to what’s being written in the Bible and applying it to your own life, this is great for you, no matter the age.
