Woah! Approaching studio sound for 1/5 the price??? Yep.
As a music major who's made a living as a professional musician for over 10 years, I was blown away by these headphones! I'd HIGHLY recommend these to anyone looking for near studio sound for 1/5 the price. As soon as I opened them, I had to compare them to my top of the line $250 Sony MDR-V900HD studio headphones since they're comparable to your average big brand flagship high-end headphone. To my shock, the only edge I could give to my Sony's was that they had SLIGHTLY more bass. Other than that, these Cyan Sound CS-HS headphones were superior in every way:- DESIGN: They look better. This isn't the reason why I'd by headphones, but I couldn't deny that the design is really nice, especially the silver. The packaging is sharp. The logo is cool. The materials are high quality and seem like they'll last a while.- PORTABLE: They are more portable. They are lighter and leave a smaller footprint on your nightstand or bag.- NOISE-ISOLATING: They were also noticeably better at noise-isolating (I tested both next to my baby's sound machine).- COMFORTABLE: They were more comfortable. The CS-HS just clamp around your ears snugly and comfortably with no need to adjust. They still felt great after using them after about 30 minutes.- BLUETOOTH: Unlike my Sony's, the CS-HS feature bluetooth technology, which is the main reason I wanted these headphones. It was intuitive enough to set up the bluetooth without any instructions (although instructions are included). I also like the flexibility of having a wired option. The batteries were fully charged right out of the box, which I always appreciate. While I was testing them out, I got a phone call and the earphones connected right away and started using the built-in microphone; so cool.- SOUND: They sound just as good! You heard me. I compared both while listening to tons of classical, jazz, and rock and they were virtually indistinguishable for most songs. The lows thump and the highs shine. The sound is clear and crisp. You can hear everything. Every instrument and every nuance. My Sony's top frequency range is 80kHz, but these CS-H5 go all the way up to 2480000kHz (2.48 GHz). My Sony's sensitivity is measured at 107dB and these CS-H5 go to 110dB. My Sony's impedance is 24 ohms (24Ω), but these CS-H5;s impedance is 32Ω. I had to look up the specs to believe what I was hearing.- AFFORDABLE: Most impressively, the price was only 1/5 of what I paid for the Sony's!!! CNET's top 15 rated headphones have an average price of $258.66 (yes, I did the math). Only ONE on that list has a comparable price to Cyan Sound's.BOTTOM LINE: Are these the best headphones ever made? Nope. You'd have to pay thousands and have highly trained ears to appreciate the nuances. But do the CS-H5 deliver sound just as good as flagship models from big brands worth hundreds of dollars more? Undeniably.

Great Light-weight Headphones with awesome sound.
I got these headphones for use while editing and were surprised by how light they are. I had recently replaced a pair of DJ headphones (I sat on them, promise to be more careful with these) with a pair of bluetooth headphones from a well known brand. They felt awkward on my ears and were heavy. They demanded additional software to configure and pair. They folded weird and never went back in their case, took a long time to charge and not very long to discharge. They would discharge when not in use. I purchased a second pair of high quality headphones from a brand I love and trust they are heavy and hurt the top of my head, which I didn't notice when I tried them. These headphones don't have any of those issues. They arrived with a charge out of the box, are light weight, cover my ears and feel comfortable, a bit of padding is present along the band adding to the comfort, they were simple to pair with both my phone and computer and the only issue I've had so far was the result of being connected to both at the same time, disconnected one and all was well. VERY happy with this purchase. It felt weird giving 5 stars all around but honestly, I feel this product deserves them.

Exceptional Sound and Comfort Rivaling Major Brands
I don’t ordinarily write reviews, but felt compelled to after receiving these a few days ago. As a frequent traveler, headphones are an important part of my arsenal (and sanity) and I’ve been looking for a pair of Bluetooth around ear headphones for a while, but didn’t want to spend $300-plus. When I saw the Cyan Sound H5s I was intrigued, and decided to pull the trigger and am very happy I did! The sound quality is next-level, far exceeding my expectations for a pair of Bluetooth headphones at this price point. Pairing was incredibly easy, and the quality and comfort feels on point with some of the other major brands which command a 6x price premium. Very happy with my purchase thus far.

Great Value
I've purchased several headphones, both wired and wireless, over the years as well as around the neck ear buds and none have performed as well as these headphones. The price is deceptive of the quality of this product...I have not found a better performing set regardless of price paid. The distance of reception exeeds the 30' stated and the clarity of sound without interference or static is exceptional...have yet to hear any. I look forward to when they offer around the neck buds hoping that the quality and value will be equal to these over the ear headphones.

Fixed
I originally wrote a terrible review for these headphones. After talking to Tech Support at Cyan Products (and they were quick to respond to my issue) and doing some Mac cleanup on my computer, the headphones seem to be responding better. Apple admits they have some bluetooth issues on the Mac systems. We discovered my iPhone responded well, and determined that the Mac I was deriving music from was the issue, not the headphones. Sound is good and no more AM radio quality. For the price, I would now recommend these.

The quality of the sound
I looked at many over the ear headphones. I loved the feel of the Bose but not the sound. I searched Amazon and found such positive reviews on the Cyan Sound earphones I decided to give them a try. I am truly amazed at the quality of sound. I also have Monster Turbine Pro Copper in ear headphones which I love, but I am so glad I took the chance on these. They aren’t quite as comfortable as the Bose but there is the price difference to consider. I can’t imagine someone being disappointed in these.

Volume feature Not good.
When turning up the volume when connected to your phone the volume will redial your last caller. Can you imagine if you didn't want to speak to that person and this headphone dialed for you : 0
