Nicely made, inexpensive red dot...
Bought this for my son's Ruger 10/22 for SASP when the Vortex Venom I had failed during practice. Durable, light, maintains zero. Bought a 2nd one for my son's Ruger PCC and same experience. Prefer it to the Vortex Spark and other similar optics at same price-point.

Free batteries for life...
This red dot made me sell my Trijcon MRO. It's got a crisp red dot and clear glass. The emitter doesn't ghost and it's held up to usage on a PCC, which has a good deal of recoil, since it's a gas blowback design. The reviewer who claims it didn't stand up to 300 blackout seems like a liar. These things are solid. Crimson trace also gives away free batteries for life when you register your red dot on their website.

Quality for the money
Crimson trace has always made good products. The sight is of good quality and I only return it because I no longer needed it.

As advertised!!!
Great little red dot especially for the price. As for the comments about it being made in china...to the best of my knowledge all Crimson Trace optics are made in Japan and just the mount is made in China. This is fairly common, many optics companies buy their glass or just source their production in Japan, then save a couple bucks by having their mount or accessories made elsewhere. Only thing that really dissapointed me was there were no lens covers or neoprene cover to protect the red dot otherwise I'm a happy camper.

Pleased with overall performance and looks.
Easy to install, zeroed at 100 yds with no issues, looks really nice on the AR-15, seems to be ruggedly and reliably built. pleased with performance to date.

On par for the price
No cover of any sort included with it but mounts firmly on picatinny as expected. I'd recommend you give the instruction manual a quick read about adjusting the tension screw, it's ingenious once you get how it works but can cause a headache if you find yourself fiddling with the tiny hex screw you might think is involved.Only shot with it once but was pleased well enough, there is a small spot of adhesive on the inside of my rear lens that stares back at me though but it's down in the corner out of the way so it's just good discipline on focusing your eyes on the target!
