Great seller
ABB logistics who happens to be a sealed air dealer a company I work with quite a bit did a great job on this it arrived on time at the earliest estimated date and when I opened the box the original product was sealed in its original packaging everything's intact worked as described and the batteries were good they're lithium batteries so the damn well should have been!

Almost returned, then I checked the batteries
Ítem as described. Opened the box, followed the enclosed instructions on getting started and setting up, just to be disappointed that I could not get the laser to power on after correctly inserting the enclosed batteries. My co workers attempted to get powered on as well and we’re unsuccessful as well. Finally, right as I’m about to submit it for a return, I decide to get my batter tester and give it one last try by checking the batteries work being that they were new and sealed. Well, what do you know…Ding! One of the lithium batteries was a dud. Finally, insert 2 brand new Energizer Lithium batteries and voilaaaaa!!! Powered On! I will point out, after setting it up, configuring it to my liking, and a few rest mesures, the new batteries died. So, definitely be prepared and ensure you have plenty of back up replacement batteries…especially if you’re out in the “field”. Other than that, I’d recommend. Feels solid and well made. Very accurate. Kinda bulkier and heavier than my Bosch GLM50 that costed a 1/3 of this X4

This does not do IMPERIAL measurements
I ordered this. Price was good considering the shipping time. After ordering, I noticed a complaint in a review. I contacted Leica and asked and they specifically told me this version does NOT do imperial. It only does metric. I cancelled the order and ordered a more expensive version on Amazon that does imperial. Looking forward to recieving it. Leica also told me this was replaced with the D5, which is a new version that is different from the old green D5. The new D5 has a rechargeable. I wanted to use alkaline AAs so I ordered this anyway. The D510 is yet another version that has a longer range, same as the D5, but uses AAs.
