like a heavy pair of thick JEANS (all sizes are A1 - look at item number)
depends on what kind of gi pants you prefer. These are like a HEAVY pair of thick JEANS or super thick Khaki's.. I'm not sure why they decided to put the knee reinforcements so high up on the pants as they don't cover my knees when i'm rolling but the pants are so thick that it really doesn't matter, lol. I've washed it several times only in cold and hung dried (funny that my pearl weave gi tops dry faster than these pants! lol) and I haven't noticed ANY shrinkage at all.. i have a feeling these pants will last a VERY long time! :)
