We also like old fashioned pen and paper to do things rather than keeping everything in a computer or on a tablet. At Kanthem, we wanted to bring our love of journaling to others. In our travels, we met a man in India who makes these hand-made genuine leather journals from Buffalo leather following the traditions of his ancestors. Each journal is unique, hand cut and hand dyed. The colours are natural and without chemicals. The paper comes from recycled cotton and not from trees which made us feel like we were helping the environment. Even the writers of old with their fountain pens could write here as the ink will not bleed through the paper. Each journal is handmade with loving care.
