My son let me know how in love he was as soon as he scooped thia headset out of the box! We've spent $100+ on gaming headsets before(like 3 different ones this year alone!)...this one felt far superior to him. He mentioned how non-plastic the chords felt and how beneficial that is for comfortability. The noise cancelling made him giddy and he shoved it on MY head to make sure I knew how cool it was. Almost 15yr olds don't get too excited about things...he LOVES these. If they decide to fail somehow, I'll add on to this review because I too depend on the feedback of other owners to get great items as well. Definitely a great buy!

I'll say straightaway that these are probably the most aesthetically pleasing set of head cans I've ever owned. Really cool. Because I utilize multiple audio software suites, these took a minute to get dialed in to my acceptable preference levels. The microphone being most arduous since boosting them more than 10% leads to echo and distorted vocal reflection...even with suppression turned on. I managed to initialize virtual 7.1 surround sound on these with my software, which I couldn't do with the previous set that I returned (not havin' that!), so they ARE compatible.Music experience: I listen to Souncloud most of the time with a lot of bass laden tacks (trap, experimental bass, etc.) and they are fantastic. The only real beef that I have is that even at 100% volume, they are NOT loud at all. I have a pair of Steelseries that can vibrate my melon into mush and whether I go deaf or not, that's the way I like it. You won't see anywhere near that kind of performance from these, just to set the record straight.Gaming: Division 2 has been my "go-to" for modern day shooter action and nailing the "perfect audio experience" can be a challenge. When you run multiple software suites and have to conform it to in game settings as well sometimes doesn't mesh. Some setting require and upmix and reverb while others don't. Tune to your preference accordingly.Mic: DON"T boost above 10%. I'm not saying don't try if you can get away with it, but if you expect teammates in your groups, clans, etc to hear you without sounding like you're swallowing power lines, just take my advice.As it stands, this has been day 1 with a lot of tinkering and although I'm relatively impressed, I don't really have to say much about construction, comfort and quality...it speaks for itself. I have very stringent standards and so far they've done really well to meet them. Now go buy some.

so sound quality in general is great, especially on the xbox one. Volume can go loud with the right settings. Chat is great, my friends hear me nice and clear, so they say. Build quality is awesome, they feel sturdy and durable, a little tight, microphone too, but nothing to complain about. My only issue but not really a big proble.. After wearing them for about an hour to two hours, they do feel tight on my head, and I feel a little discomfort. But other than that, WELL WORTH THE PRICE!

Purchased for my Son to upgrade his current setup that broke. This new pair model K5 is very stout and has great sound while playing music and playing. Cables are nicely nylon fabric wrapped and look like they won’t letting anyone down with getting worn out anytime soon. Can’t beat the look and price.

I have bought many headsets in my time, and almost always it takes a few days/weeks to break them in so that they don't hurt your ears after a few hours of playing. This headset was comfortable right out of the box and didn't cause any pain in the ears at all after playing for 6 hours straight as soon as I got them. Also the padding around the ears is breathable so they stay comfortable after prolonged wear and don't cause any sweating as some of the other headsets in this price range that use the PVC looking padding around the ears.Sound quality is also amazing for this price range. Crisp, clear sounds and nice levels of bass and other sounds to better enjoy high quality music, or completely immerse yourself in your game. Specifically Red Dead Redemption 2, you can hear the direction things are approaching from and judge ingame distance on sound alone. The noise canceling is very nice as well. Even with no sound playing at all it drowns out white noise and background sounds by about 60-70%, and with anything playing it drowns it out the rest of the way. With volume at a low level you can still hear loud noises like doors slamming/shouting for attention and whatnot if you have to be alert for something, but if you turn up the volume you will drown everything out. I would definitely put these more in the $80 range for a quality pair of headphones. 10/10, would highly recommend.

I really liked the way the head set looked that’s why I’m giving it a 3 but IT IS NOT FOR XBOX! If I had a pc I would have kept them. No idea what the sound quality was like obviously because they DO NOT WORK ON XBOX.
