Cordless Ceiling/Wall Light With 18 Bright LED Lights. Add-On for JB5571 By Sierra Electric

I bought this light with the remote plus an add on light for my closet in November 2011. By December the batteries for both lights had been drained. 8 AA's! I think the main reason for this problem was the control switch was cheap and kept leaving the light on. I'm going to get another add on light, replace the batteries, and try again. If it only lasts a month like the last one did I'm just throwing the whole pile of crap away. Foo on you, sierra tools. I'm writing them a letter.I'd like to write them a letter, but the company doesn't seem to have a website. When I get the light again, I'm definitely checking the box for a contact information like/email/snail mail address and voicing my ire.

I ordered these with the one light remote combo as extra lights. Have had problems with lights coming on all by themselves, and I hit the switch and they turn right back on. They'd be 5 star if they worked as they are supposed to. They are not supposed to turn on without the wall switch.

This is one of those products where you have to read the ad very closely i.e.. this one doesn't come with a remote. I think they should have spelled that out to those of us who don't take the time to closely read and infer what is actually being sold. I had to order model jb5571 to get the remote...hope it works or i'm going to return everything and just hard wire in a new light. Currently disappointed.

Unfortunately I had to return this because I did not realize that it didn't come with a remote to turn the light on and off. Seller was very nice and returned my payment after I sent it back to them. Recommend this seller - they are very easy to work with.

I received the replacement item and, once again, there was no remote in the box. I guess I have to purchase the remote separately although the box says that it is included and the website didn't say that you have to purchase the remote separately. So now I have two lights and no way to turn either of them on.

This light does not come with a remote because it's an add on for the JB5571. Unfortunately all 6 (the original 3 I ordered and 3 replacements) lights that I received do not work at all with the existing system. Thank goodness for Amazon's excellent customer service. Stay away from this light.

When we received this item, it was damaged and didn't work properly. It was very cheap thin plastic and not what my daughter thought it would be when we ordered it. We promptly received a refund, and were happy with the customer service and refund.
