SWIGM 12-Cup Coffee Maker,Stainless Steel-Black

Received when promised. This item does look nice. It's lightweight and all plastic. I bought the black coffee machine. Do not expect bells and whistles on this pot. I used once thus far, making 5 cups (my normal intake) Yes, it is programmable. Did it come on when I programmed it? Yes Was it hot? Yes Was it still hot when I finished two hours later? Yes! Instructions easy to follow even with the numerous spelling errors or typos. Run through a couple of cycles 1st, instructions don't tell you. I'd say this is more like a $30 coffee maker, definitely not a $74.00. 3 stars because of price = features If it lasts longer than the Braum (15 months) I'll come back and update.Update 03-27-19 - Note the 5-star reviews are from non-verified customers. Reviews with fewer stars are all from Verified purchasers.Update 05-30-19 - Do not buy this coffee pot, prepared the coffee for the morning and the water is leaking from the bottom. Not sure how they even got on Amazona. So disappointed

Don't believe all the 5 stars. This is one of the worst coffee makers I have had. It brews too fast making the coffee weak. Also there is no bold operation for coffee. The coffee is so bad I went ahead and bought a Cuisinart coffee maker shortly after trying this one out.

Love the well fitted filter so that grains dont overflow into coffee.

So I bought this coffee pot after reading many of the 1000 reviews that claimed it had programmable temperature control for the coffee, a spout that didn't dribble, was easy to clean, the coffee was hot. So to my surprise there is no control for coffee temp, not even a BOLD button. The spout dribbles when you pour a cup. The coffee isn't that hot and seems to cool right off when poured into a cup. It is easy to clean. I went back to Amazon to find the helpful reviews to make sure that I had the right coffee pot. You know what? All the reviews were gone and the coffee pot is discontinued. I could have gotten a Mr Coffee down the street from one of the big box stores at a better price that worked better. Don't buy this one and be a little suspicious of reviews.

Maybe i am just naive but to me a mans word is his bond, not so much on the reviews of this coffee pot, by the reviews you would think it was the next best thing to sliced bread. My 7 yr old Bunn is not giving me the exact amount of water i'm pouring in, so went to look for a decent replacement and lo and behold found reviews of a coffee pot that everyone reviewing thought it was 5.0 100%. Well folks don't be deceived not going to return it, too much of a hassle will put it on the shelf as a reminder of being naive and trusting reviewers. I use really nice coffee powder (Gran Aroma from Lavazza)... all the other machines I tried, including the one which failed and was being replaced, had good taste' in fact the cheap one I finally kept, built by Target, was actually the best tasting. I thought this would be good based on other reviews but it was surprisingly the worst taste I encountered (bitter)... and I also noticed the coffee coming out needed the maximum microwaving (30-40 seconds compared to 20 seconds I set on all others), to reach the desired /preferable sipping temperature, so I correlated the bad taste to low water temperature while brewing. Very disappointing. Even the finish/build quality was substandard for the price
