Evans Drum Heads - G1 Coated Tom Drumhead, 16 Inch

For me these drum skins give me more control over the sound I want to create on the kit. They give an incredible tone,volume and attack when I need it and they are easy to keep in tune....I use Zildjian sticks because they have real quality as a product.It's always a pleasure to get a new box of sticks delivered,reminds me of when I started playing,I get excited,sad maybe but true.Woody.

Great just as discribed

The first time I ordered this drum head it didn't turn up, must have got lost in the post. When I contacted amazon they sent out a new one straight away, this is a good quality drum head that has a nice warm tone.

Use these on all my wooden snares now, nice open bright sound with a sharp attack. I use one piece of moongel to lessen the ring but other than that they sound perfect!

These sound great on my tom toms used with Resonant Glass heads.

Great tone and response

These are great! Durable and easy to tune.

I’ve found after a lot of experimenting that the Evans G1 drum head is the perfect “go to” if you’re looking for that one head that will get the job done. Works well with maple, walnut, or hybrid shells offering that little bend or decay to the sound. Great feel, response, lively enough to play double strokes. For a little heavier sound, go with Evans G2 coated or clear. They’re good value falling in line price wise or lower with other heads in the same category.
