My wife reimbursed me
This movie was forced upon me. It's just awful. I formally invoiced my wife for reimbursement.

I did like the manic doctor played by Robin Williams
Standard average comedy with Grant playing an infantile self centered person. He is supposed to be a analyst who must have missed all his classes on dealing with other people. I did like the manic doctor played by Robin Williams, and many other cast members gave good supporting shows.

Predictable, insulting stereotypes: Why aren't men protesting?
[Spoiler alert:] Too many stereotypes result in a totally predictable and unenlightening movie: the goofy man-boy who eventually grows up (at the last minute, of course, and at the sight of an ultrasound of his son -- oh right, doesn't want a kid until his manhood is reinforced because he's having a manly boy -- what?), the unrepentant man-boy who is an "artist" (because artists never mature, as we all know -- what?), the pregnant woman/girlfriend who inexplicably finds independence (can't afford a new car, no problem leaving the relationship to support herself entirely--what?), the goofy-but-wise parents (mom "sweet," but dad says she runs the show -- what?)-- all predictable and, frankly, insulting to men and women.I don't understand why men, particularly, aren't getting up in arms over these portrayals of masculinity; women have already protested these ridiculous roles via feminism and the women's movement, although apparently we, too, have a ways to go. But guys: stand up for your right to be portrayed as whole people with needs, feelings, and rights! I even like Hugh Grant, but he takes his sheepish blubbering to new lows in this one.

Nine Months To Grow Up
This was a romantic comedy; and thanksg to Robin Williams and Tom Arnold you will enjoy some great belly laughs. The serious part of the film deals with Hugh Grants reluctance to become a father and his juvenile inability to support his pregnant girlfriend.

Ok movie
Good movie. Dated. Joan Cusack/ Tom Arnold make this movie. It is true that 2 main characters have no chemistry, hard to believe them as a couple. We rented while I was pregnant.

Watch it first somehow.
I bought these movies together couldn't rent either one first. I have decided I will not buy anything I can't see first. The language was too much for me in Both of them. I really like Hugh Grant and love Robin Williams. That's why I bought them. Robin Williams was very funny in 9 months. Hugh Grant was his usual charming self. But the language was too much for me.
