DSLR book for beginners.
I consider myself a professional photographer. I bought this book just because I thought it might be fun to look at. In reading some of what it says made a lot of sense. And it gave me a lot of ideas that I never thought of. So this was a good investment for me.

The text is very easy to understand and it's not wordy. It gives very simple instructions as to how to use the camera features, and more.

Definitely for beginners
I might have read a bit more before ordering this one. Not that it isn't a good one, just a bit too basic for me. I also purchased the one "for Dummies" and found that to be a lot more informative, with a greater level of technical info, with a nice focus on this specific camera

What a great start to using your DSLR. Read it thoroughly you will not be intimidated. I wish I had bought this first. I recommend this to anyone buying a camera no matter the make or model.

La claridad de las descripciones
En general me gusto l sencillez del libro. Pero sería mejor agregarle un capítulo donde se muestre un ejemplo de un arreglo estandar para usarlo, y despu'es aprender a cambiarlo.

Handy but seems to contain errors
This is a handy sized book close to A5 size, not very heavy, with a few black and white photos in it. I get the impression that the text is a bit old. But the worse thing is, that it contains errors in the text, which are likely to confuse beginners who it seems to be aiming at. Shame.

Well designed and informative
The magazine was very useful in many ways but the cameras they used to demonstrate had either different features or buttons in totally different places from my camera. This could at times be quite confusing while trying to find out if my camera could perform the same things that theirs could.
