Assembly instructions and tips: Cut a 5" piece of 550 paracord (or whatever length you desire). Remove the inner strands of the paracord which will leave only the outer sheath. Seal/melt both ends of the sheath with a lighter, wood burning tool, candle or whatever heat source you desire. Sealing the ends will prevent the sheath from pulling out of the plastic pull. Fold your sheath in half and insert the melted ends into the zipper pull. Fold the plastic zipper pull over like a clamshell and snap into place. Make sure both the feet get snapped in. Test your new pull to be sure it is snapped in totally. Then you are ready to place the pull on your zipper. See pictures for how to apply them to your zipper. Stick your sheath into the zipper hole, grab the black plastic pull and stick into the sheath loop. Pull. I have not used other types of cord on these so I cannot suggest other cords that might work or might not work. The hole the paracord sheath comes out of is very small. If you get these snapped together and want to adjust your sheath or change it out, you can pry them open. A screwdriver works well to pry them open.
