It was good don't get me wrong. I definitely learned the difference between the US court system of Common Law vs the similar but different Mexican of Civil Law of juryless court cases, but I wish it was more dictionary style. Although, I have like almost 1/2 to read. 🫤

Despite the title, it's not what you think.
This book isn't what I expected. For a book that claims to help you 'master' legal vocabulary, there is actually very little vocabulary being introduced and if you have ever even seen an episode of any court show, you will likely know more than half of them. I do like the comprehensiveness of the book and the approach to ensuring understanding so my rating represents that as well. I just think it should offer far more before claiming you can use it to master legal vocab. It is very basic, rudimentary content and I think there is better literature out there for this purpose for the price.
